GAIL (India) Limited is recruiting 85 Foreman and Senior Engineer in disciplines of Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation and Chemical. FOREMAN : 55 Nos.
1. Foreman (Mechanical): 9 Nos. (Gen—9; SC—1; ST—1; OBC—2)
Qualification: Diploma in Engineering in Mechanical / Production / Production & Industrial / Manufacturing /Mechanical & Automobile with minimum 60% marks (55% marks for SC/ST and PWD candidates)
Minimum Experience: 02 yrs post qualification experience in a large integrated Petrochemical plant/ Fertilizer plant/ Refinery.
2. Foreman (Electrical): 7 Nos. (Gen—5; SC—00; ST—1; OBC—1)
Qualification: Diploma in Engineering in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics with minimum 60% marks. (55% marks for SC/ST and PWD candidates)
Minimum Experience: 02 yrs post qualification experience in a large integrated Petrochemical plant/ Fertilizer plant/ Refinery.
3. Foreman (instrumentation): 7 Nos. (Gen—2; SC—2; ST—1; OBC—2)
Qualification: Diploma in Engineering in Instrumentation / Instrumentation & Control /Electronics & Instrumentation / Electrical & Instrumentation /Electronics /Electrical & Electronics with minimum 60% marks (55% marks for SC/ST and PWD candidates)
Minimum Experience: 02 yrs post qualification experience in a large integrated Petrochemical plant/ Fertilizer plant/ Refinery.
4. Foreman (Chemical): 32 Nos. (Gen—18; SC—5; ST—3; OBC—6)
Qualification: Diploma in Engineering in Chemical / Petrochemical /Chemical Technology / Petrochemical Technology with minimum 60% marks (55% marks for SC/ST and PWD candidates)
Minimum Experience: 02 yrs post qualification experience in a large integrated Petrochemical plant/ Fertilizer plant/ Refinery.
SENIOR ENGINEER: 30 Nos.
1. Senior Engineer (Chemical): 15 Nos. (Gen—8; SC—2; ST—2; OBC—3)
Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Engineering in Chemical/ Petrochemical/ Chemical Technology/ Petrochemical Technology with minimum 65% marks (60% marks for SC/ST and PWD candidates)
Minimum Experience: 01 year post qualification executive experience inline (including experience as GET/ ET/ MT) in Public Sector Undertaking(s)/ Large Private Sector Organization(s) in an operating integrated Petrochemical Plant/ Refinery/ Fertilizer Plant only.
2. Senior Engineer (Mechanical): 5 Nos. (Gen—4; OBC—1)
Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Engineering in Mechanical/ Production/ Production & Industrial/ Manufacturing/ Mechanical & Automobile with minimum 65% marks (60% marks for SC/ST and PWD candidates)

Minimum Experience: 01 year post qualification executive experience inline (including experience as GET/ ET/ MT) in Public Sector Undertaking(s)/ Large Private Sector Organization(s) in an operating integrated Petrochemical Plant/ Refinery/ Fertilizer Plant only
Age Limit (For all discipline under Sr. Engineer): Maximum 30 years as on 04/06/2014. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.
Age Limit (for all disciplines under Foreman): Maximum 32 years as on 04/06/2014. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.
Pay Scale (Foreman): Rs.14500—36000/- plus other allowances as per norms.
Pay Scale (Sr. Engineer): Rs.24900—50500/- plus other allowances as per norms.
Application Fee (For Foreman): Rs.50/- for the post of Foreman and Rs.200/- for the post of Sr. Engineer.
Fee is to be paid in form of Demand Draft/ Pay Order drawn in favour of GAIL (India) Limited payable at New Delhi. Name of the candidate, Post Applied For and Application Registration Number should be written on the back side of the demand draft. NO FEE FOR SC/ST AND PWD CANDIDATES.
