The Gauhati High Court at Guwahati is recruiting 46 Supporting Assistant to assist Court Managers for the Principal Seat of Gauhati High Court as well as in the Subordinate Courts within the State of Assam. SUPPORTING ASSISTANT
Number of Vacancies: 46 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Graduate in any stream. Candidates awaiting result are not eligible to apply.
Age: Minimum 18yrs and maximum 38yrs. Upper age relaxation for OBC/ MOBC is 3yrs; SC/ST is 05 years and for PWD is 10yrs.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.10,000/- per month
The engagement of the candidates in the above said posts will be on contract basis, for a period upto 31-03-2015, to assist Court Managers for the Principal Seat of Gauhati High Court as well as in the Subordinate Courts of Barpeta, Bongaigaon, Cachar, Darrang, Dehmaji, Dhubri, Dibrugarh, Goalpara, Golaghat, Hailakandi, Jorhat, Kamrup, Karimganj, Kokrajhar, Lakhimpur, Morigaon, Nagaon, Nalbari, Sivasagar, Sonitpur, Tinsukia and Udalguri.
The selection of the candidates will be through Computer Skill test (MS Word. MS Excel, Spreadsheet) and Viva-voce. If the number of applicant applying for the post is large, then the court may decide to hold a Written Test of 100 marks (objective type) on OMR answer script.

Application Fee: Candidates willing to apply for the vacancies must pay Application Fee of Rs.100/- (Rs.50/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates) through any branch of State Bank of India by means of Fee Payment Challan.
Candidates may download the fee payment challan from the court’s website (see below URL).
After successful submission of Online Application form, the system generated Registration Number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must note it down for future reference. Candidates must also print-out the Registration Slip after submission of online Application form for future correspondence.
There is no need to send any hard copy/ print-out of the Application form to the court. All the verification will be made in later stage.
