The Gauhati High Court at Guwahati (The High Court of Assam, Nagaland, Mizoram and Arunachal Pradesh) is inviting application from the eligible candidates for 741 posts of UDA-cum-Accountant, Bench Assistant, LD Assistant, Typist, Stenographer, Data Entry Operator, Copyist, Office Peon and Chowkidar. The posts are on contractual basis for a period of 02 years for the Foreigners Tribunals of Assam under the jurisdiction of Gauhati High Court. 1. UDA-cum-Accountant: 64 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Vacancies will be filled up on deputation basis from the LDAs working in other Departments in the State of Assam having at least 5yrs continious service in the said post. See officially released advertisement for more details.
Age Limit: Minimum 18yrs and maximum 38 years for General and OBC/MOBC categories as on 17/08/2015
Pay Scale: Rs.5200 – Rs.20200 and Grade Pay of Rs.2900/-

 

2. Bench Assistant: 64 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Graduate from a recognized University in any discipline and must have proficiency in operation of Computers.
Age Limit: Minimum 18yrs and maximum 38 years for General and OBC/MOBC categories as on 17/08/2015
Pay Scale: Rs.5200 – Rs.20200 and Grade Pay of Rs.2200/-

 

3. LD Assistant: 64 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Graduate from a recognized University in any discipline and must have proficiency in operation of Computers.
Age Limit: Minimum 18yrs and maximum 38 years for General and OBC/MOBC categories as on 17/08/2015
Pay Scale: Rs.5200 – Rs.20200 and Grade Pay of Rs.2200/-

 

4. Typist: 64 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Graduate from a recognized University in any discipline and must have proficiency in operation of Computers. The candidates will have to appear in a computer typing test.
Age Limit: Minimum 18yrs and maximum 38 years for General and OBC/MOBC categories as on 17/08/2015
Pay Scale: Rs.5200 – Rs.20200 and Grade Pay of Rs.2200/-

 

5. Stenographer Grade-II/III: 64 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Graduate from a recognized University and must possess Diploma/Certificate in Stenography from ITI/Polytechnic or any other institute. Candidates should have ability to shorthand test at speed of 80 words per minute for 07 minutes and Transcription of same within 3 minutes.
Age Limit: Minimum 18yrs and maximum 38 years for General and OBC/MOBC categories as on 17/08/2015
Pay Scale: Rs.5200 – Rs.20200 and Grade Pay of Rs.2900/-

 

6. Data Entry Operator: 200 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Class 12 pass in any discipline and knowledge of Computer.
Age Limit: Minimum 18yrs and maximum 38 years for General and OBC/MOBC categories as on 17/08/2015
Pay Scale: Rs.10000/- (Fixed)

 

7. Copyist: 85 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Class 12 pass in any discipline and should have proficiency in English and official language of Assam.
Age Limit: Minimum 18yrs and maximum 38 years for General and OBC/MOBC categories as on 17/08/2015
Pay Scale: Rs.6000/- (Fixed)

 

8. Office Peon: 68 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Class VIII pass. Candidates who have pass class 10/Matriculation are not eligible to apply.
Age Limit: Minimum 18yrs and maximum 38 years for General and OBC/MOBC categories as on 17/08/2015
Pay Scale: Rs.6000/- (Fixed)

 

9. Chowkidar: 68 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Class VIII pass. Candidates who have pass class 10/Matriculation are not eligible to apply.
Age Limit: Minimum 18yrs and maximum 38 years for General and OBC/MOBC categories as on 17/08/2015
Pay Scale: Rs.6000/- (Fixed)

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 10yrs for PWD candidates

The engagement of the candidates will be on contractual basis for a period of 02 years for the Foreigners Tribunals of Assam under the jurisdiction of Gauhati High Court.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through OMR test/ Skill test (wherever applicable) and Interview.
