1. CHEMIST TRAINEE
No. of Vacancies: 06 Nos. (UR-02, SC-01, OBC-03)
Educational Qualification: Full time M.Sc. (Chemistry) preferably in Analytical Chemistry in First Class with 60% marks (50% marks for SC/ PwBD candidates) from a recognized University/ Institute.
Experience: Should have minimum 01 year relevant post qualification work experience/ 01 year post qualification Apprenticeship Training (in a relevant field) in a Refining/ Petroleum/ Power/ Lube/ Petrochemical/ Fertilizer/ Chemical Industry, of repute.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years as on 01/07/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.13500-31000/-
2. GENERAL WORKMAN-B (TRAINEE)- PETROCHEMICAL
No. of Vacancies: 12 Nos. (UR-07, SC-01, OBC-03, EWS-01)
Educational Qualification: First Class full time Diploma in Chemical Engineering/ Technology OR Petrochemical Engineering/ Technology (50% marks for SC/ PwBD candidates) with 60% marks from a recognized University/ Institute.
Experience: Should have minimum 01 year relevant post qualification work experience/ 01 year post qualification Apprenticeship Training (in a relevant field) under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961 in a Refining/ Petroleum/ Power/ Lube/ Petrochemical/ Fertilizer Industry, of repute.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years as on 01/07/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs11500-20000/-
Only Male candidates are eligible to apply.
Candidates domiciled in the state of Kerala will be preferred. Everything else being equal, preference will be given to erstwhile Kochi Refinery Project Evictees.
Note:-
i) Candidates having Post Graduation degree/ Diploma in Engineering in any other discipline or any equivalent qualification than mentioned above are not eligible to apply.
ii) Candidates possessing higher qualification than Diploma in Engineering level qualification are not eligible to apply for General Workman-B (Trainee)- Petrochemical post. Candidates who have acquired higher qualification in addition to Diploma in Engineering are also not eligible to apply. However, Bachelor of Science/ Arts after Diploma in Engineering would not be considered as higher qualification.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Test, Skill Test and Medical Test. The Written Test and Skill Test will be conducted at Kochi. The tentative date of the Written Test will be during 3rd/ 4th week of August, 2019.
