Odisha Public Service Commission is recruiting 27 persons for the posts of – “Geologist” in Group-B of Odisha Mining and Geology Service under Steel and Mines Department. 1. GEOLOGIST: 27 Nos. (Gen—9; SC—5; ST—6; SEBC—7).
Qualification: 2nd Class M.Sc. in Geology or Applied Geology or Diploma in Applied Geology from Indian School of Mines and Applied Geology, Dhanbad degree, diploma or certificate of IIT or from any other such equivalent Institutions.
Essential: The candidate must be able to speak, read and write Odia fluently and must have passed at least an examination in Odia language equivalent to that of Middle English School Level.
Age Limits: between 21yrs to 32yrs as on 01-08-2012. Upper age relaxation is as per norms.
Pay scale: Rs.9300—Rs.34800 and Grade pay: Rs.4600/-
Application fee: Rs.200/- only through the Pay-in-Slip which will generate after successful submission of Online application.
SC/ST candidates of Odisha are exempted from the fee payment.
