Gulbarga Electricity Supply Company Limited (GESCOM) is inviting Online Application form for recruitment to the post of “Assistant Lineman” in the company. Name of the Post: ASSISTANT LINEMAN
No. of vacancies for ITI pass candidates (meant for Female candidates only): 147 Nos.
No. of vacancies for ITC pass candidates (meant for both Male & Female candidates): 88 Nos.
Educational Qualification:
For ITI pass vacancies (Female only): Female candidates possessing 18 or 24 months ITI course certificate in the trade of – Electrician/ Electronics/ Electronic Mechanic, as on 11/01/2012 may apply.
For ITC pass vacancies: Class 10 pass and should have a pass certificate of 03 years duration course of “Lineman trade”/“Electrician trade” (ITC) imparted by the Industrial Training Institutes of KEB/KPTCL.
Other essential Requirement: General candidates shall have obtained 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) in their prescribed qualification. Candidates should have knowledge of Kannada in reading and writing. Candidates shall be physically fit and shall possess normal eye sight.

Age Limit: Minimum 18yrs and maximum 35yrs as on last date of receipt of application. Upper age relaxation for reserved categories is as per norms

After submitting the online Application form, candidates must print-out the system generated Acknowledgement Slip and Fee Challan.
Acknowledgement Slip shall be retained safely for future correspondence and Challan shall be used to pay the Application Fee. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT OR HARD COPY TO THE COMPANY AT THIS STAGE.
Application Fee: Rs.400/- (Rs.200/- for SC/ST candidates) is to be paid by means of challan through any branches of State Bank of India. Fee can be also paid through online system during submission of online application by means of Debit/ Credit card or net banking.
