GMRC Recruitment Eligibility
General Manager/Addl. General Manager (Traction):– As per the official notification, candidates must possess a B.E /B.Tech (Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics/Industrial Electronics / Power Electronics or equivalent) engineering graduate from a government-recognized University/Institute.
Age Limit:- The maximum age limit for the General Manager: is 55 Years—the maximum age limit is 58 years. for deputation 62 years of post-superannuation basis.
General Manager/Addl. General Manager (Rolling Stock):- As per the official notification, candidates must possess a B.E /B. Tech (Electrical/Mechanical/ Electrical & Electronics / Power Electronics/Instrumentation or equivalent) engineering graduate from a Govt. recognized University/Institute.
Age Limit:- For General Manager: The maximum age limit is 55 years on a contract basis. 58 years for deputation. 62 years of post-superannuation basis
For Addl. General Manager:- The maximum age limit is 53 years on a contract basis. 58 years for deputation. 62 years of post-superannuation basis.

Deputy General Manager (Civil –Safety):– As per the official notification, candidates must possess a B.E / B. Tech in Civil Engineering from a Govt. recognized University/Institute with a Diploma/P.G. Diploma in Construction/Industrial Safety from an Institute recognized by State/Central Govt. or other Statutory authority.
Age Limit:- The maximum age limit is 45 years on a contract basis. 58 years for deputation.
Manager/Asst. Manager (Architect):– Candidate must be B.Arch. graduate from a government-recognized University/Institute.
Age Limit:- The maximum age limit for a Manager: is 38 years. For Asst. Manager: 32 years.
Assistant Manager (Finance & Accounts):– Candidate must be a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or Member of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India or MBA with specialization in Finance from a Govt. recognized Institute/University.
Age:- The maximum age limit is 32 Years.
Manager (IT):- Candidate must be a B.E / B. Tech in Computer Engineering / IT / Electronics / Instrumentation and Control from Govt. recognized Institute/University.
Age Limit:- The maximum age limit is 38 years.
Sr. Executive (Finance & Accounts):- Candidate must be a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or Member of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India or MBA with specialization in Finance from a Govt. recognized Institute/University.
Age Limit:- 32 Years.
Engineer – Jr. Grade (Architect):- Candidate must be B.Arch. graduate from a government-recognized University/Institute.
Age Limit:- The maximum age limit is 28 years.
