PRINCIPAL CHIEF CONSERVATOR OF FORESTS, GOA, IS INVITING APPLICATION FOR 42 POSTS OF FOREST GUARD. LAST DATE — 22/02/2016
1. Forest Guard: 42 Nos. (Gen – 21, OBC – 11, ST – 3, SC – 2, Home Guards – 4 and Ex-Ser. – 1)
Educational Qualification: Secondary School Certificate or equivalent.
Physical Requirement :
i) For male candidates: Height-163cms, Chest-79cms (Expansion by- 5cms
ii) For Female candidates : Height-150cms, Chest-74cms (Expansion by 5cms)
Walking test:
i) For Male Candidates: 25 kms to be completed in 4 hours.
ii) For Male Candidates: 16 kms to be completed in 4 hours
Candidates must have knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: Candidates having knowledge of Marathi are desirable.
Age Limit: Between 18 years to 35 years as on 22-02-2016.
Pay Scale: Rs.4,440/- Rs.7,440/- and Grade pay Rs.1,400/-
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any – As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through written test, Physical and Walking test
