Eligibility Criteria for Goa PSC Recruitment 2024
Education Qualification:-
Technical Examiner
- Executive Engineer or equivalent; or
- Assistant Executive Engineer or equivalent with 5 years service in the grade; or
- Assistant Engineer or equivalent with 8 years service in the grade
Deputy Director (Technical)
- Officials holding similar posts under Central/ State Governments/ UTs Administrative/ Public Sector Undertaking/ Corporation/ Autonomous Body/ Statutory Body/ Recognised
Institution
Assistant Director
- Candidate must have passed a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/ Mechanical or equivalent Engineering from a recognized University/ Institution.
OR
Candidate must have passed a Master’s Degree in Civil/ Mechanical or equivalent Engineering from a recognized University/ Institution. - Knowledge of Konkani
Technical Officer
- Candidate must have passed a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/ Mechanical or equivalent Engineering from a recognized University/ Institution.
OR
Candidate must have passed a Master’s Degree in Civil/ Mechanical or equivalent Engineering from a recognized University/ Institution. - Knowledge of Konkani
Junior Surgeon
- Candidate must have passed diploma holder, post-graduate diploma with 2 years working in a responsible post related to the respective specialty.
- Knowledge of Konkani.
Medical Officer
- The candidate must have passed the medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or the second part of the third schedule Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (Except Licentiate Qualification).
Tutor in the Institute of Nursing Education
- Candidate must have passed Post Graduation in Nursing from a recognized University
Scientific Assistant cum Photographer in Forensic Science Laboratory
- Candidate must have passed graduation with at least a second class in science from a recognized university
- Diploma in Photography or Certificate Course in Advanced Photography from a recognized institution
- Knowledge of Konkani
Assistant Professor in Fine Art (Painting)
- Candidate must have passed a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in the relevant branch with First class or equivalent in any one of the two degrees and a minimum of two years of relevant professional experience.
- Knowledge of Konkani.
Age Limit
Age Limit – Candidates’ upper age limit should be 45 years according to their posts as per the last date of receipt of the application form.
Selection Process For Goa PSC Recruitment 2024
The selection committee formed by the Goa Public Service Commission will shortlist Based on the performance in the written examination consisting of the said two papers, each paper will carry 50 percent qualifying marks and viva voce of 50 marks.

Upon successful payment of the prescribed fee and submission of the online application form, the system-generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print out it for future correspondence. All the verification will be done in due course.
