Goa Shipyard Limited is inviting application from the eligible candidates for regular/ fixed term posts of – Assistants, Shipwright, Painter, Nursing Asst., Translator, Diploma Trainee, Fitter, Mechanic, Cook, Wireman, Operator, Unskilled Grade posts and Etc. 1. Assistant Superintendent (Finance): 1 Nos.
Qualification: Inter CA or Inter ICMA / ICWA. The candidate should possess minimum 02 years post qualification relevant experience in the Finance department of a medium or large size Company.
Age: 31yrs.
2. Assistant (HR): 1 Nos.
Qualification: Degree in any discipline with 05 years experience in HR & A discipline in any Engineering Industry / PSUs of repute.
Age: 35yrs.
3. Tug Master: 1 Nos.
Qualification: Certificate of Competency as 2nd class Master of Inland Vessels, issued by the Captain of Ports or Mercantile Marine Department. Should have a minimum 05 years experience in the field (Refer the Advt.)
Age: 35yrs.
4. Senior Shipwright: 2 Nos.
Qualification: The applicant should have served in the Navy or other Armed forces for a minimum period of 5 years.
Age: 35yrs.
5. Senior Painter (Blasting & Spray Painting): 1 Nos.
Qualification: SSC with minimum 05 years experience in Blasting & Spray Painting.
Age: 35yrs.
6. Nursing Assistant (Male): 1 Nos.
Qualification: Three years full time Diploma Course in General Nursing & Midwifery from recognized Institute/ Board /University and should have two years working experience in a hospital or Government/ PSU medical centers.
Age: 28yrs.
7. Office Assistant (Finance): 5 Nos.
Qualification: Degree in any discipline with typing speed of 30 w.p.m. (i.e. Lower Typing) either on computer or Typewriter with 01 year certificate course in computer applications and 01 year on the job training in GSL or minimum one year experience in the line. In case of BCA / B.Sc in computer, separate certificate in computer applications is not required.
Age: 28yrs.
8. Jr. Hindi Translator: 1 Nos.
Qualification: Degree wherein Hindi and English is one of the subjects and a diploma in Hindi translation a master’s degree in Hindi from a recognized institute/ university.
Age: 28yrs.
9. Junior Hindi Translator (on fixed term for 3yrs): 1 Nos.
Qualification: Same as above.

10. Diploma Trainee (Shipbuilding Engg.): 3 Nos.
Qualification: 04-Years full time Diploma in Shipbuilding Engineering from a reputed and recognized Institute.

11. Diploma Trainee (Mechanical Engg.): 4 Nos.
Qualification: 03-Years full time Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

18. Shipwright Fitter: 4 Nos.
Qualification: SSC with Certificate from deck/engine department and 2 years experience in the line from a shipbuilding industry.

19. Yard Assistant: 3 Nos.
Qualification: Degree in any discipline with typing speed of 30 w.p.m. (i.e. Lower Typing) either on computer or Typewriter with 01 year certificate course in computer applications and 01 year on the job training in GSL or minimum one year experience in the line.

Qualification: ITI and NCTVT or ITI in trade of Electrical Mechanic / Electrician with 02 years of experience in line of Electrical Mechanic/Electrician.

Qualification: ITI and NCTVT or ITI in Fitter/ General Fitter.
Age: 28yrs.
22. Trainee Pipe Fitter: 5 Nos
Qualification: ITI and NCTVT or ITI in Fitter/ Fitter General / Pipe Fitter.
Age: 28yrs.
23. Trainee Structural Fitter: 8 Nos.
Qualification: ITI in Fitter/Fitter General and NCTVT In the trade of Structural Fitter / sheet metal worker or ITI in the trade of Structural Fitter.

24. Trainee Welder: 5 Nos.
Qualification: ITI and NCTVT or ITI in the trade of Welder.

25. Marine Fitter: 1 Nos.
Qualification: ITI and NCTVT or ITI in trade of fitter / Marine Fitter with 02 years of experience in line.

26. Pipe Fitter: 5 Nos.

30. Mobile Crane Operator cum Vehicle Driver: 4 Nos.
Qualification: SSC and Heavy Vehicle driving license with 02 years training in the respective trade in GSL or 02 years experience in the line.

31. Wireman: 1 Nos.
Qualification: SSC with 02 years training in the respective trade in GSL or 02 years experience in the line.

32. Unskilled Grade: 18 Nos.
Qualification: SSC with 01 year experience in the line.

33. Trainee General Fitter: 10 Nos.
Qualification: SSC with ITI in the trade of Fitter.

34. Store Assistant: 4 Nos.
Qualification: Degree in any discipline with typing speed of 30 w.p.m. (i.e. Lower Typing) either on computer or Typewriter with 01 year certificate course in computer applications and 01 year on the job training in GSL or minimum one year experience in the line.

N.B: The age of the candidates as mentioned above alongwith the posts is the maximum age limit. Upper age relaxation for reserved categories is as per norms. OBC—3yrs, SC/ST—5yrs, PWD—10yrs, Ex-Servicemen and others – as per norms.

After successful submission on Online Application form, the system generated Registration Slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out the system generated Registration Slip and must send it to the below address along with enclosures in support of eligibility.
Processing Fee: Candidates willing to apply for any one of the above posts must prepare a Demand Draft of Rs.100/– drawn in favour of Goa Shipyard Limited, payable at Vasco-da- Gama, Goa as processing fee.
Candidates must write their Application registration Number, Name, Mobile Number and Name of post applied for on the reverse side of Demand Draft.
No Fee is to be paid by SC/ST and PWD candidates.
