GOA SHIPYARD LTD INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR 27 NON-EXECUTIVE CADRE POSTS. LAST DATE — 11/05/2015
1. Assistant Superintendent (HR): 03 Nos. (Gen-02 & OBC-01)
Educational Qualification: Bachelors of Business Administration(BBA) OR Graduate in any discipline with Diploma in Personnel Management / Industrial Relations /Labour Law and Labour Welfare / BSW /B.A (Social Work) /B.A (Sociology)’ from recognized University /Institute.
Desirable: 2/3 years Post Graduate Degree / Diploma in HR / MIRPM / MBA / MSW / MHRM /LLB/B.L. Certificate course on Supervisory development.
Experience: The candidate should possess minimum 2 Years Post qualification relevant work experience in HR function.
Pay Scale: Rs.9000/- to Rs.23300/- per month plus other allowances as per govt. norms.
2. Junior Supervisor (Safety): 01 Nos. (Gen)
Educational Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering/Technology with 2 years work experience in the Supervisory capacity in a factory. OR Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety by Board of Technical Education and Preference will be given having knowledge of KONKANI, MARATHI language.
Pay Scale: Rs.9000/- to Rs.23300/- per month plus other allowances as per govt. norms.
3. Junior Supervisor (Shipwright): 01 Nos. (Gen)
Educational Qualification: Class 10th passed plus worked in navy or other armed forces, of 10 years experience not less than rank of leading mechanical Engg. or equivalent.
Experience: In the relevant areas as leading sea man / leading mechanical Engg. or equivalent post qualification.
Pay Scale: Rs.9000/- to Rs.23300/- per month plus other allowances as per govt. norms.
4. Office Assistant: 13 Nos. (Gen-07; SC-01; ST-02 & OBC-03)
Educational Qualification: Degree in any discipline with typing speed of 30wpm on Computer or Typewriter with 1 year certificate course In Computer Application and 1 year on the Job training in GSL or 1 year experience.
In case of BCA / B.Sc in computer, separate certificate in computer applications is not required.
Pay Scale: Rs.6200/- to Rs.20270/- per month plus other allowances as per govt. norms.
5. Store Assistant: 04 Nos. (ST-01 & Gen-03)
Educational Qualification: Degree in any discipline with typing speed of 30wpm either on computer or Typewriter with 1 year certificate course in computer applications and 1 year on the job training in GSL or minimum 1 year experience in same line. In case of BCA / B.Sc in computer, separate certificate in computer applications is not required.
Pay Scale: Rs.6000/- to Rs.16950/- per month plus other allowances as per govt. norms.
6. Store Assistant: 05 Nos. (OBC-02 & Gen-03)
Educational Qualification: Degree in any discipline with typing speed of 30wpm either on computer or Typewriter with 1 year certificate course in computer applications and 1 year on the job training in GSL or minimum 1 year experience in same line. In case of BCA / B.Sc in computer, separate certificate in computer applications is not required.
Pay Scale: Rs.6000/- to Rs.16950/- per month plus other allowances as per govt. norms.
Age Limit (for all above posts): Maximum 28 years as on 31.03.2015. The upper age relaxation for SC/ST is 5 years, OBC is 3 years and others as per govt. norms.

1. Cook: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Class 10th passed with 08 years experience in Cooking.
Desirable: Candidates holding qualifications from Armed Force, Cookery/ Stewards training school and holding the rank of Leading Seamen / Equivalent can apply provided they fulfill the essential qualification & Experience etc.
Age Limit: Maximum 44 years as on 31.03.2015.
Pay Scale: Rs.6000/- to Rs.16950/- per month plus other allowances as per govt. norms.
2. Office Assistant (Hindi): 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Degree in any with Hindi typing speed of 30 wpm either on Computer or Typewriter with 1 year certificate course in Computer application and 1 year on the job training in GSL or minimum one year experience in the line.
In case of BCA / B.Sc in computer, separate certificate in computer applications is not required.
Desirable qualifications: English typing speed of 30 w.p.m. (i.e. Lower Typing) either on computer or Typewriter.
Age Limit: Maximum 38 years as on 31.03.2015.
Pay Scale: Rs.6200/- to Rs.20270/- per month plus other allowances as per govt. norms.
3. Yard Assistant: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Degree in any with Hindi typing speed of 30wpm either on Computer or Typewriter with 1 year certificate course in Computer application and 1 year on the job training in GSL or minimum one year experience in the line.
In case of BCA / B.Sc in computer, separate certificate in computer applications is not required.
Age Limit: Maximum 38 years as on 31.03.2015.
Pay Scale: Rs.6000/- to Rs.16950/- per month plus other allowances as per govt. norms.
Note: The upper age relaxation for reserved category will be as per govt. norms.
Mode of Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test and Interview. Exact Date, Time and Venue for examination will be intimated in due course.
