1. Junior Supervisor (Safety): 2 Nos. (Gen)
Educational Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering with 2 yrs experience in the supervisory capacity in a factory. Full Time Advance Diploma in Industrial Safety.
Preference will be given to adequate knowledge of the language having in KONKANI, MARATHI.
2. Office Assistant (Finance): 2 Nos. (OBC-1; PWD (OH)-1)
Educational Qualification: Degree in Commerce with typing speed of 30 w.p.m. either on computer or Typewriter with 01 year certificate course in computer applications and 01 year on the job training in GSL or minimum one year experience.
3. Office Assistant: 4 Nos. (Gen-2; ST-1 & OBC-1)
Educational Qualification: Degree in any discipline with typing speed of 30 w.p.m. either on computer or Typewriter with 01 year certificate course in computer applications and 01 year on the job training in GSL or minimum one year experience.
4. Office Assistant (Contractual): 2 Nos. (Gen-1 & ST-1)
Educational Qualification: Degree in any discipline with typing speed of 30 w.p.m. either on computer or Typewriter with 01 year certificate course in computer applications and 01 year on the job training in GSL or minimum one year experience.
5. Trainee Marine Fitter: 20 Nos. (Gen-15; ST-2 & OBC-3)
Educational Qualification: ITI and NCTVT or ITI in Fitter/ General Fitter/Marine Fitter.
Desirable: Preference will be given to those candidates who have undergone NCTVT from Shipyards like Mazagon Dock Limited, Cochin Shipyard Limited, Goa Shipyard Limited etc.
6. Diploma Trainee (Electrical Engg.): 2 Nos. (Gen-1 & ST-1)
Educational Qualification: 03 years full time Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
7. Diploma Trainee (Mechanical Engg.): 4 Nos. (Gen-3 & OBC-1)
Educational Qualification: 03 years full time Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
8. Diploma Trainee (Civil Engg.): 3 Nos. (Gen-2 & SC-1)
Educational Qualification: 03 years full time Diploma in Civil Engineering.
9. Diploma Trainee (Shipbuilding Engg.): 1 Nos. (ST)
Educational Qualification: 04 years full time Diploma in Shipbuilding Engineering.
10. Trainee Machinist: 1 Nos. (Gen)
Educational Qualification: ITI and NCTVT or ITI in Machinist trade.
Desirable: Preference will be given to those candidates who have undergone NCTVT from Shipyards like Mazagon Dock Limited, Cochin Shipyard Limited, Goa Shipyard Limited etc.
11. Trainee Structural Fitter: 8 Nos. (Gen-8; ST-1 & OBC-1)
Educational Qualification: ITI in Fitter/Fitter General and NCTVT In the trade of Structural Fitter / sheet metal worker or ITI in the trade of Structural Fitter.
Desirable: Preference will be given to those candidates who have undergone NCTVT from Shipyards like Mazagon Dock Limited, Cochin Shipyard Limited and Goa Shipyard Limited etc.
12. Trainee Welder: 9 Nos. (Gen-6; ST-2 & OBC-1)
Educational Qualification: ITI and NCTVT or ITI in the trade of Welder.
Desirable: Preference will be given to those candidates who have undergone NCTVT from Shipyards like Mazagon Dock Limited, Cochin Shipyard Limited and Goa Shipyard Limited etc.
13. Wireman: 3 Nos. (Gen)
Educational Qualification: SSC with 02 years training in the respective trade in GSL or 02 years experience.
Desirable: He should have the knowledge of the following:: (i) Voltage (ii) Current (iii) Power (iv) Energy (v) Difference between A.C. & D.C. supply (vi) Conductors and insulators (vii) Testing the supply off & on, A.C. & D.C. (viii) Connection and diagrams for distribution and fuse board (ix) Wiring of fittings and other industrial appliances.
14. Mobile Crane Operator: 3 Nos. (Gen-2 & OBC-1)
Educational Qualification: The candidate should possess SSC and Heavy Vehicle driving license with 02 years training in the respective trade in GSL or 02 years experience.
15. Vehicle Driver (Contratual): 3 Nos. (Gen-2 & ST-1)
Educational Qualification: SSC and Light/Heavy Vehicle driving license with 02 years training in the respective trade in GSL or 02 years experience.
16. Unskilled Grade: 9 Nos. (Gen-6; ST-1; OBC-1 & PWD (HH)-1)
Educational Qualification: SSC with 01 year experience.
Desirable: ITI candidates will be given preference.
17. Painter: 1 Nos. (Gen)
Educational Qualification: SSC and 02 years training in the respective trade in GSL or minimum 02 years experience.
Desirable: ITI in painting and experience in various types of blasting and spray painting will be preferable.
18. Trainee Pipe Fitter: 1 Nos. (Gen)
Educational Qualification: ITI and NCTVT or ITI in Fitter/ Fitter General / Pipe Fitter.
Desirable: Preference will be given to those candidates who have undergone NCTVT from Shipyards like Mazagon Dock Limited, Cochin Shipyard Limited and Goa Shipyard Limited etc.
19. Senior painter (Contractual): 1 Nos. (Gen)
Educational Qualification: SSC with minimum 05 years experience in Blasting & Spray Painting.
Desirable: ITI in painting and having more no. of years of supervisory experience in the relevant field.
20. Tug Master: 1 Nos. (Gen)
Educational Qualification: Certificate of Competency as 2nd class Master of Inland Vessels, issued by the Captain of Ports or Mercantile Marine Department and Should have a minimum 05 years experience.
21. Pipe Fitter (Contractual): 4 Nos. (Gen)
Educational Qualification: ITI and NCTVT or ITI in trade of fitter / Pipe Fitter with 02 years of experience.
22. Khalasi: 1 Nos. (Gen)
Educational Qualification: SSC with Certificate from deck/engine department and 2 years experience in the line/trade.
Desirable: The candidate should be proficient in his trade and should be able to carry out all activities related to his trade.
23. Cook (Contractual): 6 Nos. (Gen-3; ST-1& OBC-2)
Educational Qualification: SSC with minimum 08 years cooking experience in any
industry / Public sector Undertaking/ small or medium industry / Hotel etc.
Desirable: Candidates holding qualifications from Armed Force, Cookery/ Stewards training school and holding the rank of Leading Seamen / Equivalent can apply provided they fulfill the essential qualification & Experience.
24. Store Assistant: 1 Nos. (ST)
Educational Qualification: Degree in any discipline with typing speed of 30 w.p.m. either on computer or Typewriter with 01 year certificate course in computer applications and 01 year on the job training in GSL or minimum one year experience.
25. Store Assistant (Contractual): 1 Nos. (Gen)
Educational Qualification: Degree in any discipline with typing speed of 30 w.p.m. either on computer or Typewriter with 01 year certificate course in computer applications and 01 year on the job training in GSL or minimum one year experience.
Age limit: Maximum 28 yrs as on 31.08.2014. The maximum age for the post of Senior Painter and Tug master is 35 yrs whereas 34 yrs for the post of Cook. The upper age relaxation for reserved categories is as per Govt.norms.
Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.100/- in form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of Goa Shipyard Limited, payable at Vasco-da-Gama, Goa .
