Educational Qualification: Class 12th passed plus worked for 10 years in Navy or other Armed Forces with the last rank.
Experience: In the relevant areas as Leading Sea Man/Leading Mechanical Engg. or equivalent.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years.
Pay Scale: Rs.9000/- to Rs. 23300/- per month.
2. Junior Supervisor (Master): 01 Nos. (Gen)
Educational Qualification: Certificate of competency as second class master of inland vessel by Mercantile/Captain posts.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years.
Pay Scale: Rs.9000/- to Rs. 23300/- per month.
3. Junior Supervisor (Tug Master): 01 Nos. (Gen)
Educational Qualification: Certificate of Competency as 1st/2nd class Master of Inland Vessels by Mercantile Marine Department/Captain posts.
Desirable: Preference will be given to 1st Class Master for Inland Vessels.
Experience: 3 years experience as a 2nd class Master of handling Tugs/Vessels of 400 BHP capabilities with twin screw propulsion system.
Desirable work experience: Preference will be given to the candidates who have experience of towing of ships of minimum 2000 Tons displacement from jetty to outside the channel.
Age Limit: Maximum 40 years.

4. Assistant Superintendent (HR): 02 Nos. (Gen)
Educational Qualification: Bachelors of Business Administration (BBA) or Graduate in any discipline with Diploma in Personnel Management/ Industrial Relations/ Labour Law and Labour Welfare/ BSW/ B.A (Social Work)/ B.A (Sociology).
Desirable: 2/3 years Post Graduate Degree/ Diploma in HR/ MIRPM/ MBA/ MSW/ MHRM/ LLB/ B.L. Certificate course on Supervisory Development offered by National Productivity Council or other institutes.
Experience: 2 years experience in HR function.

9. Yard Assistant: 04 Nos. (ST—01; OBC—01; Gen—01 & PWD—01)

12. Refrigerator & AC Mechanic: 03 Nos. (ST—01; OBC—01 & Gen—01)
Educational Qualification: ITI in trade of Refrigeration and AC Mechanic with 2 years experience or 2 years training in the respective trade in GSL.
Desirable: Candidates should have National Certificate of Vocational Training or a license to handle refrigerators/ A/Cs and Installation, repairs, maintenance and commissioning of various types of refrigerators and A/Cs used in ships or equivalent.

Educational Qualification: Class 12th passed with ITI in the Trade of Fitter/ Fitter General.

Desirable: Preference will be given to those candidates who have undergone NCTVT from Shipyards like Mazagon Dock Limited, Cochin Shipyard Limited and Goa Shipyard Limited etc.
Age Limit: Maximum 28 years.
Pay Scale: During the period of training, the candidates will be given a stipend of Rs.7000/- per month in first year and Rs.7500/- per month in 2nd year. After successful completion of the training, candidates will get stipend of Rs.6600/- to Rs.16950/- per month.
Age Limits & Relaxation: The age mentioned above will be counted as on 31.05.2015. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; and Others, if any – As per Govt. norms.
