Application Fees – Individuals from the General (Unreserved) category are required to submit an application fee of Rs. 100/- along with applicable postal charges. On the contrary, candidates falling under reserved categories, the Economically Weaker Section of the Unreserved category in Gujarat State, ex-servicemen, and physically disabled candidates are exempt from paying any application fees. However, candidates belonging to reserved categories from other states are obligated to pay the application fee.

Candidates belonging to the reserved category are eligible to apply for vacancies in the Unreserved Category, with criteria aligned to the standards set for the Unreserved Category.
In instances where there is a lack of female candidates in a specific category (provided there are reserved posts for women), those reserved positions will be allocated to male candidates within the same category.
The selection process for both unreserved and reserved posts, including those earmarked for the Economically Weaker Section, SEBC category, SC category, ST category, and female candidates within their respective categories, will be based on the marks obtained by candidates in the selection process. The selection will also consider the qualifying standards set by the commission to uphold the efficiency of the respective cadre or service.
Before initiating the online application process, candidates are advised to thoroughly read the Advertisement Number and the post’s name. The application should be confirmed only after verifying all details filled in the form. Any requests for corrections or submissions related to the confirmed online application will not be entertained.
In the case of multiple online applications from a candidate, only the latest confirmed application will be considered by the Commission. For unreserved category candidates, the commission will only consider the last confirmed application with fees.
Candidates should have the necessary certificates ready to demonstrate eligibility during the interview stage. As of now, candidates are not required to send a physical copy of the application to the commission. However, they may be instructed to do so at a later stage.
Certificates for eligibility for reservation in the EWS category should adhere to the format prescribed by the Social Justice and Empowerment Department, Government of Gujarat’s Resolution No: EWS/122019/45903/A, dated 25/01/2019, and G.R. No: EWS/122019/45903/A, dated 13/09/2019, as applicable. Candidates must mention the number and date of the EWS certificate while applying online. The validity of the EWS eligibility certificate will align with the provisions of these resolutions or the relevant instructions of the state government in force.
