1. GRADUATE APPRENTICES

Discipline wise vacancies:
i) Mechanical: 115 posts
ii) EEE/ E&I: 17 posts
iii) ECE: 07 posts
iv) CS/ IT: 20 posts
v) Civil: 29 posts
vi) Chemical: 03 posts
Educational Qualification: A Degree in Engineering or Technology in the concerned discipline.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years as on 28/10/2019.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.6000 per month
2. TECHNICIAN APPRENTICES
No. of Vacancies: 260 Nos. (SC-49, ST-03, OBC-70, OC-138)
Discipline wise vacancies:
i) Mechanical Engineering: 160 posts
ii) Electrical & Electronics Engg./ Electronics & Instrumentation Engg.: 30 posts

Educational Qualification: A Diploma in Engineering in the concerned discipline.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years as on 28/10/2019.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.4000 per month
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category.
The candidates will undergo One year Apprenticeship Training under the Apprentices (Amendment) Act, 1973 for the year 2019-2020 in the Disciplines at Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), Tiruchirappalli.
Note:-
i) Candidates possessing work experience of one year or above after completion of Degree/ Diploma are not eligible.
ii) Candidates who have passed their degree/ diploma, only in the last three years i.e. 2017, 2018 or 2019 are eligible to apply.
iii) Sandwich courses are not eligible.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Certificate Verification. Tentative Certification Verification starts from 21/10/2019.
