1. GRADUATE APPRENTICE
No. of Vacancies: 03 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) BE/ B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
ii) B.Sc in Food Science/ B.Tech in Food Tech/ Food processing.
Stipend: Rs.9000 per month
2. TECHNICIAN (DIPLOMA) APPRENTICE
No. of Vacancies: 12 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
ii) Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
iii) Diploma in Hotel Management/ Catering Technology.
iv) Diploma in Refrigeration.
v) Diploma in Plastic Technology/ Plastic Mould Technology.
vi) Diploma in Food & Nutrition.
vii) Diploma in Instrumentation.
viii) Diploma in Banking Technology.
ix) Diploma in Food Processing.
Stipend: Rs.8000 per month
The vacancies are for undergoing Apprenticeship Training for a period of One (01) year under the Apprentices Act 1961 as amended in 1961, 1973 & 2014 at Defence Food Research Laboratory (DFRL), Mysore.
Note:-
i) Fresh pass-out candidates (passing their BE/ B.Tech/ Diploma courses in 2017, 2018 & 2019) only can apply. Candidates with post-graduation are not eligible to apply.
ii) Those candidates who have completed the qualifying examination as regular candidates are only eligible to apply.
iii) Graduate degree holders who had training or job experience for a period of one year or more after attaining the essential qualification will not be eligible to apply.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Walk-in Interview on 13th November, 2020 at Defence Food Research Laboratory (DFRL), Siddhartha Nagar, Mysore- 570011 from 09:00 AM to 09:30 AM.
