i) Electrical & Electronics Engineering: 182 posts
ii) Electronics Communication Engineering: 10 posts
iii) Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering: 04 posts
iv) Civil Engineering: 13 posts
v) Mechanical Engineering: 37 posts
vi) Computer Science and Engineering/ Information Technology: 04 posts
Educational Qualification: A Degree in Engineering or Technology from recognized University/ Institution in relevant discipline.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.4984 per month
2. TECHNICIAN (DIPLOMA) APPRENTICES
No. of Vacancies: 250 Nos.
Discipline wise vacancies:
i) Electrical & Electronics Engineering: 182 posts
ii) Electronics Communication Engineering: 10 posts
iii) Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering: 04 posts

Educational Qualification: A Diploma in Engineering or Technology from recognized State Council or Board/ University in relevant discipline.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.3542 per month
Only candidates hailing from state Tamilnadu are eligible to apply.
The candidates will undergo One year Apprenticeship Training under the Apprentices (Amendment) Act 1973 in various Disciplines.
Note:-
i) The candidates who have passed Degree/ Diploma in Engineering during the year 2017, 2018 and 2019 are only eligible to apply.
ii) Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship under Apprentices (Amendment) Act 1973, and/ or having one year or more experience are not eligible to apply.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Certificate Verification.
