GRADUATE APPRENTICE TRAINEE
No. of Vacancies: 45 Nos. (Indian Copper Complex: 15 posts, Khetri Copper Complex: 15 posts, Malanjkhand Copper Project: 15 posts)
Trade wise vacancies:
i) Mining- 16 (UR-09, SC-03, OBC-04)
ii) Electrical- 11 (UR-07, SC-02, OBC-02)
iii) Mechanical- 10 (UR-06, SC-02, OBC-02)
iv) Civil- 04 (UR-03, OBC-01)
v) Metallurgy- 02 (UR)
vi) Chemical- 02 (UR)
Educational Qualification: Four years full time Degree course from any recognized Institute in:-
i) Mining Engineering.
or
ii) Electrical Engineering/ Technology.
or
iii) Mechanical Engineering/ Mining Machinery Engineering.
or
iv) Civil/ Architecture Engineering.
or
v) Metallurgy Engineering/ Technology.
or
vi) Chemical Engineering/ Technology.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.9000 per month
The candidates will undergo One year apprenticeship training as per Apprentices Act, 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules 1992 (as amended from time to time) in different Operating Units of Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL) namely, Khetri Copper Complex (KCC), Khetrinagar (Rajasthan), Indian Copper Complex (ICC), Ghatsila (Jharkhand) and Malanjkhand Copper Project (MCP), Malanjkhand (Madhya Pradesh).
Note:-
i) The candidates should not have completed 03 years after passing of the qualifying examination as on 01.11.2019 i.e, candidates having passed the Graduation in Engineering in the year 2019, 2018 and 2017 are only eligible to apply.
ii) Candidates who have previously undergone Apprenticeship Training or are presently undergoing Apprenticeship Training or presently in employment elsewhere or registered for apprenticeship Training under the Apprenticeship Act elsewhere are not eligible to apply.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be done based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and Document Verification. The shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification at respective Units of HCL.
