1. GRADUATE APPRENTICES

i) Chemical Engg.- 01 post
ii) Computer Engg.- 02 posts
iii) Civil Engg.- 03 posts
iv) Electrical Engg.- 15 posts
v) Electronics & Telecomm.- 05 posts
vi) Mechanical Engg.- 42 posts
vii)Production Engg.- 05 posts
Educational Qualification: i) A Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University/ Institution in relevant discipline.
ii) Graduate examination of Professional bodies recognized by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to above.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 4984/- per month.
2. DIPLOMA APPRENTICES
No. of Vacancies: 07 Nos.
Subject wise vacancies:
i) Electrical Engg.- 02 posts
ii) Mechanical Engg.- 05 posts
Educational Qualification: A Diploma in Engineering or Technology from recognized State Council or Board of Technical Education or University or Institution in relevant discipline.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 3542/- per month.
Note:-
i) Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship under Apprenticeship (Amendment) Act 1973 in any Govt. or Public Sector or Private industrial organization are not eligible to apply.
ii) Candidate should not have undergone Apprenticeship Training elsewhere.
iii) Candidate should not have work experience of one year or more.
iv) Candidate should not have completed three years after passing of the qualifying examination.
The candidates will undergo Apprenticeship training for a period of One year under the Apprenticeship (Amendment) Act 1973 in Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited (MDSL).
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of the percentage of marks obtained in Academic Qualification.
