Recruitment of 125 persons for the post of “Graduate Engineer Trainee” at Electronic Corporation of India Ltd (ECIL)

Govt. of India Enterprise under Dept. of Atomic Energy—Electronic Corporation of India Limited (ECIL) is recruiting 125 Nos. for the post of “Graduate Engineer Trainee” in Mechanical, Civil, ECE, EEE, E&I, and CSE. Required qualification and others were given below:-

Name of the Post: Graduate Trainee
No. of vacant posts: 125 (Gen-74; OBC-25; SC-11; ST-8 & PH-7)

Qualification: Graduate in Mechanical/ ECE/ EEE/ E&I/ Computer Science & Engineering/ Civil Engineering with at least 65% marks (55% marks for SC/ST candidates) in aggregate from any recognized University or AICTE approved College/Institutions may apply for the post.
Candidates who have appeared/ appearing for final year exam can also apply. Post Graduates in Engineering candidates were not eligible to apply.

Age Limit: Candidates should not be more than 25 yrs old as on 30-06-2011. Age relaxation for OBC: 3yrs and SC/ST: 5yrs. PWD candidates will get age relaxation as per rules.

Selection Steps: Candidates will be selected through Written Test and Interview. Written Test may hold on the month of August at Kolkata, Bhubaneswar, Patna and Guwahati in Eastern India.
Written Test will be of Objective Types on Engineering Degree syllabus in respective disciplines.

More details can be found on the above website. Before submission of application, candidates will have to visit the site and download pay-in-slip. With this slip they have to pay application fee of Rs.200 by visiting any branch of State Bank of India. Fee should be deposited on the following accounts—A/c No.3110214419. SC/ST and PWD candidates do not need to pay registration fee.
Now after depositing the fee, candidates can visit the website again and can submit the online form by providing each detail as instructed on the site.

After submitting the form, a computer generated form will appear along with Application No.
Candidates should make print-out of this generated form. This form and original copies of documents, pay-in-slip will have to produce by the candidates during the time of Interview.
Candidates do not need to send any things by post. Selected candidates name will appear on the official website of ECIL as well as candidates can also download their hall ticket to sit for Written Exam.
