GRADUATE ENGINEER TRAINEE
No. of Vacancies: 120 Nos. (UR-51, OBC-31, SC-15, ST-11, EWS-12. Out of the total posts, 14 posts are reserved for PWD)
Discipline wise vacancies:
i) Mechanical- 45 posts
ii) Electrical- 29 posts
iii) Instrumentation- 15 posts
iv) Chemical- 09 posts
v) Metallurgy- 13 posts
vi) Civil- 05 posts
vii) Mining- 04 posts
Educational Qualification: i) Full time regular Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in respective discipline with not less than 65% marks in aggregate (55% of marks for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates) taking average of all the semesters/ years. Candidates in the final year of their Engineering may also apply.
ii) The candidates must have appeared in GATE- 2020 examination in the relevant GATE paper. For details please see the Official Advt.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years as on 20/03/2020.
Pay Scale: Rs.60000 — Rs.180000
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
The selected candidates will undergo one year on-the-job training at different locations of the company. Selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of Rs.40000- 140000/- during one year training.
Candidates’ Selection: The candidates will be selected based on the GATE- 2020 Score and Personal Interview.
