GRADUATE ENGINEER TRAINEE
No. of Vacancies: 64 Nos. (UR-31, EWS-06, OBC-19, SC-06, ST-02)
Discipline wise vacancies:
i) Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE)- 30 posts
ii) Mechanical- 24 posts
iii) Computer Science Engineering (CSE)- 10 posts
Educational Qualification: i) First Class Engineering Degree with minimum 65% marks in aggregate (Second Class with 55% for SC/ ST candidates) from recognized Colleges/ Universities in the relevant discipline.
ii) The candidates should have valid GATE- 2018 or GATE- 2019 Score in relevant subject. For details please see the Official Advt.
Age Limit: Maximum 25 years as on 30/11/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.40000 — Rs.140000
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Note: Candidates having Post Graduation qualification in Engineering are not eligible to apply.
The selected candidates will undergo Training for a period of One year on a consolidated stipend of Rs.48,160/- per month during training period. On successful completion of training, candidates will be appointed as Engineer for a period of three (03) years with total emoluments of Rs.67,920/-p.m during 1st year, Rs.69,960/-p.m during 2nd year and Rs.72,060/-p.m during 3rd year. Subsequently, the candidates will be absorbed as Technical Officer subject to satisfactory performance.
The candidates will be posted at ECIL Headquarters in Hyderabad or in any of Zonal/ Branch/ Site Offices located across India.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of GATE 2018 and GATE 2019 Score and Personal Interview. The Personal Interview will be held at Hyderabad.
