GRADUATE ENGINEERING APPRENTICE/ TECHNICIAN APPRENTICE
No. of Vacancies: 20 Nos. (Graduate Engineering Apprentice- 20 posts, Technician Apprentice- 05 posts)
The vacancies are in the following Trades:
Computer Science/ IT Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Fabrication Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Shipbuilding Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Polymer Engineering.
Educational Qualification: i) B.E, B.Tech in respective trade for Graduate Engineering Apprentice.
ii) Diploma in Engineering in respective trade for Technician Apprentice.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.9000 per month for Graduate Engineering Apprentice/ Rs.8000 per month for Technician Apprentice.
The vacancies are for undergoing Apprenticeship Training under the Apprentices Act 1961 and Apprenticeship (Amendment) Rules 2019 at Goa Shipyard Limited, Vasco-da-Gama, Goa.
Those who have completed the Degree/ Diploma in relevant stream during the year 2019 and 2020 are only eligible to apply. Candidates those who have already undergone similar type of training/ experience of one year or more are not eligible to undergo the training as per the Apprenticeship Act.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Test, Practical Test and Interview wherever applicable.
