Office of the Project Officer cum District Welfare Officer, Backward Classes Welfare, Suri, Birbhum is recruiting eligible candidates for the 12 posts of – “Graduate/ Honours Assistant Teacher and Principal” at Ekalavya Model Residential School (EMRS) located at Kankutia, PO- Bolpur, District- Birbhum. 1. PRINCIPAL: 1 post
Qualification: Post Graduate degree having Schooling Subject.
Degree in Teaching or Education and working experience in any Educational Institution is desirable.
POST GRADUATE/ HONOURS GRADUATE ASSISTANT TEACHER (Subject wise given below)—
1. Post Graduate Assistant Teacher in Bengali: 1 Nos. (Reserved for SC)
Qualification: Post Graduate degree in Bengali
2. Post Graduate Assistant Teacher in Physics: 1 Nos. (General)
Qualification: Post Graduate in Physics
3. Post Graduate Assistant Teacher in Chemistry: 1 Nos. (General – Exempted Category)
Qualification: Post Graduate in Chemistry
4. Post Graduate Assistant Teacher in History: 1 Nos. (ST)
Qualification: Post Graduate in History.
5. Post Graduate Assistant Teacher in Biology: 1 Nos. (General)
Qualification: Post Graduate in Zoology with Botany as subsidiary subject in the Degree course.
6. Honours Graduate Assistant Teacher in Geography: 1 Nos. (SC-Exempted category)
Qualification: Honours degree in Geography
7. Honours Graduate Assistant Teacher in Geography: 1 Nos. (OBC)
Qualification: Honours Graduate degree in Geography
8. Post Graduate Assistant Teacher in English: 1 Nos. (General-Exempted Category)
Qualification: Post Graduate in English.
9. Honours Graduate Assistant Teacher in Bengali: 1 Nos. (SC)
Qualification: Honours Graduate degree in Bengali
10. Post Graduate Assistant Teacher in Mathematics: 1 Nos. (General with disability)
Qualification: Post Graduate in Mathematics
11. Honours Graduate Assistant Teacher in Mathematics: 1 Nos. (General-Exempted category)
Qualification: Honours Graduate in Mathematics
Desirable Qualification (All posts): Degree in Teaching or Education from any recognized university is desirable.
Pay scale: –
For Principal: Rs.15000/- per month
For Post Graduate / Honours Graduate Assistant Teacher: Rs.14000/- per month
Age Limits: between 18yrs to 38yrs as on 01/01/2012. Upper age relaxation for OBC—3yrs; SC/ST—5yrs. Others—as per norms.
The engagement to the post will be on temporary basis for One year at Ekalavya Model Residential School (EMRS) located at Kankutia, PO- Bolpur, District-Birbhum.
