Educational Qualification:
i) For Trained Graduate Teacher (Arts) posts:- Bachelor Degree in Arts/ Commerce (with 02 school subjects) from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ ST/ OBC/ SEBC candidates) along with a Degree in Bachelor Education from a recognized Institution.
ii) For Trained Graduate Teacher (Science) posts:- Bachelor Degree in Science (CBZ/ PCM) from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ ST/ OBC/ SEBC candidates) along with a Degree in Bachelor Education from a recognized Institution.
iii) For the post of +2 SC., CT Sikshya Sahayak/ +2 Arts, CT Sikshya Sahayak:- i) Higher Secondary (+2 Science/ +2 Arts or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 02 years Diploma in Education (CT).
OR
Higher Secondary (+2 Science/ +2 Arts or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 02 years Diploma in Education (Special Education) under Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI). Candidate must have registered his/ her name under RCI, in case passed DSE.
ii) Passed in the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET- Categry-1).
iii) Candidate must have Odia as MIL upto Class X or pass in Odia language test equivalent to Matriculation standards conducted or declared equivalent by Board of Secondary Education, Odisha.
Age Limit: Above 18 years and below 32 years as on 30/10/2019.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ ST/ SEBC/ Women and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be done on Merit basis based on the percentage of marks obtained in Academic Qualification. For the post of B.A. B.Ed. Sikshya Sahayak/ B.Sc. B.Ed Sikshya Sahayak, the candidates who have qualified OSSTET (Odisha Secondary School Teacher Eligibility Test) will be given preference during selection process.
