1. GRADUATE APPRENTICE TRAINEE

Discipline wise vacancies:
i) Chemical Engineering: 04 posts
ii) Electrical and Electronics Engineering: 04 posts
iii) Electronics and Communication Engineering: 01 post
iv) Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering: 01 post
v) Mechanical Engineering: 02 posts
Educational Qualification: Degree in Engineering in the respective discipline with minimum 55% aggregate marks (minimum 45% aggregate marks for OBC & minimum 40% aggregate marks for SC/ST/PWD candidates).
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 10,000/- per month.
2. TECHNICIAN APPRENTICE TRAINEE
No. of Vacancies: 05 Nos.
Discipline wise vacancies:
i) Chemical Engineering: 02 posts
ii) Electrical and Electronics Engineering: 02 posts
iii) Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering: 01 post
Educational Qualification: Diploma in Engineering in the respective discipline with minimum 55% aggregate marks (minimum 45% aggregate marks for OBC & minimum 40% aggregate marks for SC/ST/PWD candidates).
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 7,100/- per month.
The candidates will be engaged as Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961/ Apprentices Amendment Act, 1973 and will undergo Apprenticeship Training for a period of One year at ONGC Mangalore Petrochemicals Limited (OMPL), Mangalore.
Notes:-
i) Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination in the year 2017, 2018 and 2019 are only eligible to apply.
ii) Candidates who are appearing at the qualifying exam/ awaiting result of qualifying exam/ who do not have mark sheets and degree/ diploma certificate (either provisional or final) are not eligible for applying.
iii) Candidates who have been engaged previously as apprentice/ are undergoing apprenticeship training at OMPL or elsewhere under the Apprentices Act, 1961/ Apprentices Amendment Act, 1973 (as amended from time to time) are not eligible to apply.
iv) Candidates who have got more than one year of work experience are not eligible to apply.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be done based on the percentage of marks obtained by the candidates in Engineering/ Diploma and Written Test. The Written Test will be conducted at Mangalore only. The tentative date of Written Test is 22nd September, 2019.
