CSIR-National Metallurgical Laboratory is recruiting eligible candidates for 13 posts of Graduate Apprentices and Technician (Diploma) Apprentices. The candidates will undergo Apprenticeship Training for a period of One year at CSIR-National Metallurgical Laboratory, Burmamines, Jamshedpur. CSIR-NATIONAL METALLURGICAL LABORATORY WILL CONDUCT WALK-IN-INTERVIEW FOR 13 POSTS OF GRADUATE APPRENTICES AND TECHNICIAN (DIPLOMA) APPRENTICES. WALK-IN DATE — 14.02.2019
1. GRADUATE APPRENTICES (ELECTRONICS)
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Four years regular Engineering degree with 60% marks (50% marks for reserved category) in respective discipline.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 26 years as on 31.01.2019.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 12000/- per month.
2. TECHNICIAN (DIPLOMA) APPRENTICES
No. of Vacancies: 11 Nos.
Discipline wise vacancies:
i) Mechanical- 05 posts
ii) Electrical- 02 posts
iii) Civil- 01 post
iv) Electronics- 01 post
v) Metallurgical- 02 posts
Educational Qualification: Three years full time Diploma with 60% marks (50% marks for reserved category) in respective discipline.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 31.01.2019.
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 8,000/- per month.
The candidates will undergo Apprenticeship Training for a period of One year at CSIR-National Metallurgical Laboratory, Burmamines, Jamshedpur.
Candidates who have obtained their degree/ diploma from 2016 to 2018 are only eligible to apply.
Candidates possessing higher professional qualifications are not eligible to apply.
Candidates should not have undergone Apprenticeship earlier or pursuing Apprenticeship Training as per the Apprentices Act, 1961/1973 as amended from time to time.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be on the basis of marks obtained in the Qualifying Exam, Written Test and Personal Interview.
