Gram Panchayat & Panchayat Samity Level Recruitment, Malda District – Nirman Sahayak, BlO, DEO. Last Dt. 27/01/2014

District Level Selection Committee, Malda, is recruiting 47 eligible candidates of Indian citizens for various posts at Gram Panchayat and Panchayat Samity level in Malda District. Posts — Nirman Sahayak, Block Informatics Officer and Data Entry Operator. Interested and eligible candidates may apply online from the official website of Malda District (see link below). Selection of the candidates will be through an open competitive examination. Employment Notification No.DLSC/ABP/01/13‐14. Qualification norms and brief details are given below —

1. Nirman Sahayak: 39 Nos. (Gen—16; SC—7; ST—10; OBC—5; Sportsperson—1)
Qualification: Diploma in Civil Engineering.
Pay Scale: Rs.9000—40500 and Grade Pay: Rs.4400 plus other allowances as per norms.

2. Block Informatics Officer: 4 Nos. (Gen—1; SC—1; ST—1; OBC-B-EC—1)
Qualification: B.C.A or Bachelor’s Degree (Hons) in Computer Science OR Bachelor’s degree in any stream with “A” level certificate course of DOEACC. (Refer the advt. for alternative)
Pay Scale: Rs.7100—37600 and Grade Pay: Rs.3900 plus other allowances as per norms.

3. Data Entry Operator: 4 Nos. (Gen-EC—1; SC—1; OBC-B-EC—1; Ex-Servicemen—1)
Qualification: Madhyamik pass or equivalent and must have typing speed of 30 words per minute in English and 20 words per minute in Bengali.
Candidates shall have done computer course of atleast 3 months duration and shall have minimum speed of data entry of 6000 key depression per hour.
Desirable—One year experience in the field is desirable.
Pay Scale: Rs.5400—25200 and Grade Pay: Rs.2600 plus other allowances as per norms.

Upper age relaxation (for all posts): Candidates shall be between 18yrs to 40yrs. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST—5yrs; OBC—3yrs; Ex-Servicemen/PWD and others—as per norms.

Reservation of vacancies and Upper age relaxation shall be admissible to SC/ST/OBC candidates of West Bengal State only. SC/ST/OBC candidates from other States will be treated as General Candidates.

Selection of the candidates will be through Written Examination and Practical test (wherever applicable) and Viva – Voce Test.
