Central Government of India—Under the Ministry of Defence, Jabalpur Grey Iron Foundry (GIF) is recruiting 70 Nos. Semi- Skilled Worker in the following Trade—Fitter, Mechanist, Welder, Moulder, Millwright, Electrician, Examiner (Metal) and Examiner (Engg.). Qualification and details given below—

Madhyamik pass candidate with Trade Certificate/Diploma course from National Council for Vocational Training’s (N.C.V.T.) approved ITI in any one of the below given Trade –

Madhyamik Pass Candidates with Trade Certificate Course from NCVT approved ITI in Mechanic Industrial Electronics Trade Certificate Course may apply for the post – Fitter (Electronics): 02 posts (General).

Madhyamik pass candidate with Moulder or blacksmith trade certificate course from ITI may apply for the post of – Examiner (Metal): 05 posts (General-04, ST-01)

Madhyamik pass candidate With Trade Certificate in Fitter, Machinists, Grinder, Millwright, Turner or Welder trade certificate course from ITI may apply for the posts of –
Examiner (Engg.): 05 nos. (General-04, ST-01).

Age limit: for all the above mentioned posts, the age of the candidates should be within 18 years to 32 years as on dated – 18 November, 2011. Age relaxation for SC/ST candidate-05 years, OBC candidates-03 years, PH candidates-10 years and Ex-Serviceman-as per government norms.

Pay scale: Rs. 5200-Rs. 20,200 and Grade pay-Rs. 1800.

Candidates Selection: Candidates will be selected through Written Test which will be of Objective Type Questions of 100 marks on the particulate trade.
After written test, there will be practical test of 100 marks.
First preference will be given to the candidates who have done Apprenticeship Course on any one of the above mentioned Trade.

Application can be prepared on plain paper by typing neatly on it as per given format. Along with the application form, the candidates should enclose the following documents –

• Attested copy of Age, Educational and Trade Certificate
• Attested copy of caste certificate, for SC/ST and OBC caste. PH candidates should enclose the attested copy of PH certificate.
• Three copy of passport size photograph (one copy pasted on the application form and other to copy should be enclosed with the application)
• Cross Postal Order/Demand Draft of Rs. 50 in favour of – “General Manager, GIF Jabalpur” and payable at—“Jabalpur”. SC/ST, PH and ex-serviceman candidates required no fee.

On the top of the application containing envelope, super ascribe – “Application for the Post of Semiskilled in………………. Trade”.
