GROUP ‘C’ NON TECHNICAL POPULAR CATEGORY
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos.
Discipline wise vacancies:
i) Synthesizer Vadak (Male)- 01 post
ii) Classical Singer (Female)- 01 post
Educational Qualification: 12th (+2 stage) or equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate.
Note: 50% marks in the aggregate will be reguired for NTPC categories (50% marks is not required for SC/ ST/ Ex-servicemen candidates and candidates who possess higher qualification like Graduation/ Post Graduation).
Cultural Qualification: Degree/ Diploma/ Certificate in respective discipline only from Govt. recognized Institute.
Desirable: i) Experience in Synthesizer Vadak/ Classical Singer in the field and performance given on AIR/ Doordarshan etc.
ii) Prizes won at National Level.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years as on 01/01/2020.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200 — Rs.20200
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
The vacancies are against Cultural Quota of North Western Railway for the year 2019-20.
The selected candidates will have to undergo training wherever training is prescribed for the post.
Note: Those candidates who are awaiting results of the final exams need not apply.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Test, Practical Demonstration, Assessment of Testimonials and Document Verification.
