1. LEVEL 2 (GR. C)
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos. (Anywhere on Western Railway)
Educational Qualification: Passed 12th or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate.
Note: 50% marks are not required in case of SC/ ST/ Ex-servicemen/ PwBD candidates (40% & above) of any category possessing higher qualifications i.e. Graduate, Post Graduate from a recognised University.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years as on 01/07/2020.
Pay Scale: Rs.19900 — Rs.63200
2. LEVEL 1 (ERSTWHILE GR. D)
No. of Vacancies: 12 Nos. (BCT-Mumbai Central: 02, BRC-Vadodara: 02, ADI-Ahmedabad: 02, RTM-Ratlam: 02, RJT-Rajkot: 02, BVP-Bhavnagar: 02)
Educational Qualification: i) 10th passed OR ITI OR equivalent OR National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT.
OR
ii) 10th passed plus ITI OR 10th passed plus National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT (For Civil Engineering/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Signal & Telecom Departments).
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 33 years as on 01/07/2020.
Pay Scale: Rs.18000 — Rs.56900
Scouting and Guiding Qualifications (For Level 2 and Level 1 both):
i) A President Scout/ Guide/ Rover/ Ranger OR Himalayan Wood Badge (HWB) holder in any Section.
ii) Should have been an active member of a Scouts Organization for the last 05 years i. e. 2014-15 onwards.
iii) Should have attended two events at National Level OR All Indian Railway’s level and two events at State level.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
The vacancies are against Scout and Guide Quota for the year 2019-20.
Candidates awaiting results of the final examination for the prescribed qualification are not eligible to apply.
The selected candidates will have to undergo training wherever prescribed.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Test and Document verification followed by Assessment of Marks for Certificates.
