RAILWAY RECRUITMENT CELL (RRC), NORTH CENTRAL RAILWAY INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR 08 POSTS OF GROUP ‘C’ AND GROUP ‘D’ (ERSTWHILE) AGAINST SCOUTS & GUIDES QUOTA. LAST DATE — 19/08/2019  EXTENDED TO 30/08/2019

 

1. GROUP ‘C’

No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos. (Over North Central Railway)
Educational Qualification: Should have minimum qualification of Intermediate or equivalent examination passed with 50% aggregate from any recognized Board/ University. The condition of 50% marks is not to be insisted upon in case of SC/ST/Ex-servicemen and the candidates possessing higher qualification from a recognized University.
For Technical Posts:- Matriculation/ SSLC plus ITI from recognized Institutions of NCVT/ SCVT OR Matriculation/ SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years as on 01/01/2020.

 

2. GROUP ‘D’ (ERSTWHILE)

No. of Vacancies: 06 Nos. (Allahabad-02, Agra-02, Jhansi Division- 02)
Educational Qualification: Should have minimum qualification of 10th pass from any recognized Board or ITI or equivalent or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 33 years as on 01/01/2020.

 

SCOUTS & GUIDES QUALIFICATION FOR THE ABOVE POSTS:
The candidate should possess the following certificates in support of his/ her Scouts & Guides qualification:-

i) A President’s Scout/ Guide/ Ranger/ Rover OR Himalayan Wood Badge (HWB) Holder inn any section.
ii) Should have been an active member of a Scouts organization for at least 05 years.
iii) Should have attended two event at National level OR All India Railways’ level and two events at State level.

The vacancies are for recruitment against Scouts & Guides Quota 2019-20 (Open Advertisement) on North Central Railway.

The selected candidates can be posted anywhere and on any posts as per requirements.

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Test and Marks on Certificates.

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.500/- (Rs.250/- for SC/ ST/ Ex-servicemen/ PWD, Women, Minorities & EBC) as Examination Fee.
