Group C and Group-D (Scouts & Guides Quota) Jobs in South Central Railway

South Central Railway is inviting application for 14 posts of Group ‘C’ and Erstwhile Group ‘D’. The vacancies are against Scouts and Guides Quota in South Central Railway for the year 2019-20. SOUTH CENTRAL RAILWAY IS INVITING APPLICATION FOR 14 GROUP ‘C’ AND ERSTWHILE GROUP ‘D’. LAST DATE — 11/11/2019 (26/11/2019)

 

1. GROUP ‘C’

No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos. (Over South Central Railway)

Educational Qualification: i) 10th or SSC or its equivalent with ITI Passed (in trades approved by NCVT or equivalent from the recognized Board).
OR
ii) 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized Board.

Note: 50% marks are not required for SC/ ST/ Ex-servicemen or where the candidates possess higher qualification like Graduation/ Post Graduation etc. from a recognized University.

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years as on 01/01/2020.

 

2. ERSTWHILE GROUP ‘D’

No. of Vacancies: 12 Nos. (Secunderabad-02, Hyderabad-02, Vijayawada-02, Guntur-02, Guntakal-02, Nanded Division-02)

Educational Qualification: i) 10th pass plus National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT or 10th pass plus ITI for appointment in Civil Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, S&T and Catering departments.
OR
ii) 10th pass or ITI or equivalent or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT, for appointment in other departments.

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 33 years as on 01/01/2020.

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.

 

SCOUTS AND GUIDES QUALIFICATIONS (FOR BOTH POSTS):
i) A President Scout/ Guide/ Rover/ Ranger OR Himalayan Wood Badge (HWB) holder in any section.
ii) Should have been an active member of a Scouts Organization for the last 05 years.
iii) Should have attended two events at National Level OR All Indian Railways’ Level and two events at State Level.

The vacancies are against Scouts and Guides Quota in South Central Railway for the year 2019-20.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Test and Marks on Certificates.

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Examination Fee of Rs.500/- (Rs.250/- for SC/ ST, Ex-Servicemen, PWD, Women, Minorities and EBC. Fee can be paid through Indian Postal Order (IPO)/ Demand Draft drawn in favour of FA & CAO, South Central Railway, Secunderabad, payable at Hyderabad/ Secunderabad.
