NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY, RAILWAY RECRUITMENT CELL INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR 11 GROUP ‘C’ POSTS AND ERSTWHILE GROUP ‘D’ POSTS. LAST DATE — 26/11/2019
1. GROUP ‘C’ POSTS
No. of Vacancies: 03 Nos. (N.E Railways- 02, DLW, Varanasi- 01)
Educational Qualification:
i) For Technician-III:- Matriculation or its equivalent with ITI in relevant trade recognized by SCVT/ NCVT.
ii) For other posts:- 12th or its equivalent with 50% marks in aggregate. The compulsion of 50% marks in aggregate will not be insisted upon in case of SC, ST, Ex-servicemen candidates and candidates possessing higher qualification.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 33 years as on 01/01/2020.
2. ERSTWHILE GROUP ‘D’ POSTS
No. of Vacancies: 08 Nos. (DLW, Varanasi- 02, Izzatnagar Division- 02, Lucknow Division- 02, Varanasi Division- 02)
Educational Qualification: Matriculation (10th) or its equivalent.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 33 years as on 01/01/2020.
Scouts and Guides Qualification (for both the above posts):
i) President Scout/ Guide/ Rover/ Ranger or Himalayan Wood Badge (HWB) holder in any section.
ii) Should have been an active member of a Scouts Organization for the last 05 years.
iii) Should have attended two events at National Level or All Indian Railways’ Level and two events at State Level.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
The vacancies are against Scouts and Guides Quota for the year 2019-20 in North Eastern Railway and Diesel Locomotive Works (DLW), Varanasi.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Examination and Marks on Certificates.
