Ordnance Parachute Factory, Kanpur is recruiting 120 persons for the vacancies in Group-C Industrial Establishment, Semi-Skilled in trades of – Tailor, Fitter General Mechanic, Electrician and Fitter Electronics. The eligible candidates should prepare the application on plain paper as per prescribed format and should send it by post or can be dropped in the drop-box provided in the factory. Name of the Trades and eligibility criteria is given below—
GROUP – C (SEMI- SKILLED) IN ORDNANCE PARACHUTE FACTORY, INDUSTRIAL ESTABLISHMENT (IE)
Semi-skilled, Group-C: 120 Nos. Trade wise vacancies—
1. Tailor: 104 Nos. (Gen—53; SC—22; OBC—29). Out of them PH—3nos, and Ex-serviceman—20nos.
2. Fitter General Mechanic: 7 Nos. (Gen—4; SC—1; ST—1; OBC—1). Out of them PH—1nos.
3. Electrician: 5 Nos. (Gen—3; SC—1; ST—1). Out of them PH—1nos.
4. Electronics: 4 Nos. (Gen—2; SC—1; ST—1). Out of them PH-1nos.
Qualification: Madhyamik pass and should have certificate of NCTVT or NTC issued by National Council for Vocational Trades in relevant trade failing which by I.T.I. or its equivalent Certificate/ Diploma. Candidates with Diploma or Degree in Engineering were not eligible to apply.
Age: between 18yrs to 32yrs as on closing date of application. Age relaxation – as per norm, OBC—3yrs, SC/ST—5yrs, PH—10yrs and Ex-Serviceman—as per norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Candidates will be selected through Written Test and Trade Test. Written test will be of 100 marks which will be on syllabus of NCVT examination. Trade Test will be of semi-skilled grade in respective trade.
Application Fee: Application fee of Rs.50 is to paid in form of Crossed IPO or D.D which should be in favour of – General Manager, Ordnance Parachute Factory, Kanpur, and payable at—Kanpur Branch.
Only General and OBC candidates should pay application fee.
How to Apply: Prepare the application on plain paper as per format. Along with application form enclosed the attested copies of Educational and Trade course certificate, Caste Certificate, Age proof and any other documents in support of eligibility.
Enclose the crossed D.D or IPO of prescribed amount (only for OBC and General candidates)
3 Nos. passport size photographs (self-attested, one copy pasted on application as other two as enclosures)
N.B: All the documents should be attested by Gazetted Officer Only).
