i) Archery- 01 post (Men & Women)

Educational Qualification: Graduation with University degree or its equivalent.
Sports Qualification: Secured at least 3rd position in World Cup (Junior/ Youth/ Senior Category) or World Championships (Junior/ Senior Category) or Asian Games(Senior Category) or Commonwealth Games (Senior Category) or Youth Olympics or Champions Trophy (Hockey).
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 01/01/2020.
2. GROUP ‘C’

Educational Qualification: For appointment against sports quota in Technician-III, the minimum educational qualification is 10th pass.
Sports Qualification: Represented the Country in World Cup (Junior/ Youth/ Senior Category) or World Championships (Junior/ Senior Category) or Asian Games (Senior Category) or Commonwealth Games (Senior Category) or Youth Olympics or Champions Trophy (Hockey) OR at least 3rd position in Commonwealth Championships (Junior/ Senior Category) or Asian Championships/ Asia Cup (Junior/ Senior Category) or South Asian Federations Games (Senior Category) or USIC (World Railway) Championships (Senior Category) or World University Games OR at least 3rd position in Senior/ Youth/ Junior National Championships OR at least 3rd position in National Games organized under the aegis of Indian Olympic Association OR at least 3rd position in All India Inter University Championship organized under the aegis of Association of Indian Universities OR 1st position in Federation Cup Championships (Senior Category).
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 01/01/2020.
The vacancies are against Sports Quota. The selected candidates will be posted in any of the Units of Eastern Railway.
Note:-
i) All the Championships mentioned above should be conducted under the aegis of recognized International/ National Sports Federation and also recognized by the Railway Sports Promotion Board.
ii) Eligibility will be considered based on the sports performance in the championships held on 01/04/2017 or afterwards only and the sportsperson should be a currently active player.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be done based on Trials, Assessment of recognized Sports achievements as per norms and Educational Qualifications. Tentative Trial date would be in the month of Jan/ Feb, 2020.
