GROUP ‘C’
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos.
Discipline wise vacancies:
i) Light Vocal (Hindustani or Carnatic Music Style)- 01 post
ii) Instrumental (Tabla or Violin)- 01 post
Educational Qualification: i) Passed 12th Standard (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in aggregate for the post of Junior Clerk/ Accounts Clerk.
Note:- 50% marks is not insisted upon in the case of SC/ ST/ Ex-servicemen/ PWD candidates and also in the case of candidates who possedd qualifications higher than the prescribed educational qualification.
OR
Matriculation plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship (CCAA)/ ITI approved by NCVT for the post of Technician Gr.III.
Note:- No other qualification including Diploma in Engineering is accepted as an alternative qualification.
Professional/ Cultural Qualification:
i) For Light Vocal (Hindustani or Carnatic Music Style):- Possession of Degree/ Diploma/ Certificate in Music (Light Vocal in Hindustani or Carnatic Music Style) from recognized Institute.
ii) For Instrumental (Tabla or Violin):- Possession of Degree/ Diploma/ Certificate in Tabla or Violin from recognized Institute.
Desirable: i) Experience in the field and performance given on AIR/ Doordarshan etc.
ii) Prizes won at National level.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and below 30 years as on 01/01/2020.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
The vacancies are against Cultural Quota for the year 2019-20.
The selected candidates will undergo prescribed training course as applicable for the post.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Test and Assessment of talent in the relevant field on the basis of Practical Demonstration and Testimonials/ Prizes etc.
