Educational Qualification:
i) For Grade Pay Rs.2800/-: A University Degree or its equivalent.
ii) For Grade Pay Rs.2400/-: 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent with 60 wpm in Shorthand (Hindi/ English) for a duration of 10 minutes which will be transcribed in Typing in 65 minutes in English and in 75 minutes in Hindi for the post of Junior Stenographer OR A pass in 1st year of B.Sc (Physics) or a pass in 10+2 stage in Higher Secondary in Science (Mathematics & Physics) for the post of Electrical Signal Maintainer II in S&T Department.
Sports Qualification:
i) Represented the Country in Olympics Games (Senior Category)
OR
ii) Atleast 3rd position in any of the Championships/ event in the World Cup (Junior/ Senior Category)/ World Championships (Junior/ Senior Category)/ Asian Games (Senior Category)/ Common Wealth Games (Senior Category).
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 01/01/2020.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200/- with Grade Pay Rs.2800/2400/-

Sports Qualification:
i) Represented the country in any of the Championships/ event in the World Cup (Junior/ Senior Category)/ World Championships (Junior/ Senior Category)/ Asian Games (Senior Category)/ Common wealth games(Senior Category).
OR
ii) At least 3rd Position in any of the Championships/ event in the Commonwealth Championship (Junior/ Senior Category)/ Asian Championships/ Asia Cup (Junior/ Senior Category)/ South Asian Federations (SAF) Games (Senior Category)/ USIC (World Railways) Championships (Senior Category).
OR
iii) At least 3rd Position in Senior/ Youth/ Junior National Championships.
OR
iv) At least 3rd Position in National Games Organized under the aegis of Indian Olympics Association.
OR
v) At least 3rd Position in All India Inter University Championship organized under the ageis of Association of Indian Universities.
OR
vi) 1st Position in the Federation Cup Championship (Senior Category).
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 01/01/2020.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200/- with Grade Pay Rs.2000/1900/-
Note: The candidates must have earned the achievements mentioned above on or after 01/04/2017.
The vacancies are against Sports Quota (Open Advertisement) for the year 2019-20 in South Eastern Railway. Both Men and Women candidates are eligible to apply.
