WEST CENTRAL RAILWAY, RAILWAY RECRUITMENT CELL INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR 08 GROUP ‘C’ AND ERSTWHILE GROUP ‘D’ AGAINST SCOUTS & GUIDES QUOTA. LAST DATE — 10/12/2019
1. GROUP ‘C’
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos. (Over West Central Railway)
Educational Qualification: i) 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate from a recognized Board. 50% marks are not required for SC/ ST/ Ex-servicemen/ PWD candidates or where the candidates possess higher qualification i.e. Graduation/ Post Graduation etc from a recognized University.
OR
ii) 10th pass Plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship/ ITI approved by NCVT/ SCVT for Technician Grade-III. No other qualification including Diploma in Engineering will be accepted as an alternative qualification.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years as on 01/01/2020.
2. ERSTWHILE GROUP ‘D’
No. of Vacancies: 06 Nos. (Jabalpur-02, Bhopal-02, Kota Division-02)
Educational Qualification: i) 10th pass plus National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT OR 10th pass plus ITI (For Civil Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical and S&T department).
OR
10th pass or ITI or equivalent or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT (For all other Department excluding the above).
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 33 years as on 01/01/2020.
Scouts and Guides Qualifications (For Level-2 and Level-1 both):
i) A President Scout/ Guide/ Rover/ Ranger OR Himalayan Wood Badge (HWB) holder in any Section.
ii) Should have been an active member of a Scouts Organization for the last 05 years i.e. 2014-15 onwards.
iii) Should have attended two events at National Level OR All Indian Railways’ level and two events at State level.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
The vacancies are against Scouts and Guides Quota in West Central Railway for the year 2019-20.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of Written Test and Marks on Certificates.
