G & S Factory, Cossipore, Kolkata is recruiting 21 persons for the following posts for Ordnance Factory Dum Dum. Posts — Store Keeper, Fireman and Durwan. Eligible and Interested candidates may apply online from the official website of factory within 15 days from the date of publication of the Advertisement. Eligibility norm and criteria in brief is given below—
1. Store-keeper: 4 Nos. (Gen—2; SC—1; OBC—1)
Qualification: Higher Secondary pass. Basic knowledge of Computer is desirable.
2. Fireman: 7 Nos. (Gen—4; SC—1; OBC—2)
Qualification: Madhyamik pass and must have completed basic course of minimum 6 months duration in fire fighting from govt. recognised institutes.
Physical Standard: Height—165cms; Chest (Unexpanded/ Expanded): 81.5cms/ 85 cms; Weight: minimum 50kgs.
Note.-Concession of 2.5 cms. in height or chest may be allowed for the members of Schedule Castes or Schedule Tribes candidates from hilly areas.
Endurance Test:
(i) Carrying weight of 63.5 Kgs to a distance of 183 mtrs within 96 seconds.
(ii) Long jump of 2.7 mtrs
(iii) Climbing of 3 mtrs vertical rope using hands and feet,
3. Durwan: 10 Nos. (Gen—5; SC—4; OBC—1)
Qualification: Madhyamik pass
Physical Standard: Height: 165 cms; Chest (Unexpanded/ Expanded) : 77cms/ 82cms; Weight: 45kgs.
Age Limits: Between 20yrs to 27yrs for Store-keeper and Durwan and within 25yrs for Fireman as on last date of application. Upper age relaxation for OBC—3yrs; SC/ST—5yrs.
Pay scale: Rs.5200—20200 with Grade Pay as per norms.
Examination fee: Rs.50/- only (SC candidates are exempted from the examination fee). No Fee required for ST candidates.

No need to submit the print out application. After last date of online application, we can also print out our admit card. I have applied for Store keeper. I wish a good luck of mine.
