HIGH COURT OF GUJARAT INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR 234 POSTS OF ENGLISH STENOGRAPHER (GRADE I AND GRADE II) AND GUJARATI STENOGRAPHER (GRADE I AND GRADE II). LAST DATE — 15/10/2016
1. English Stenographer Grade – I (Class-II): 63 Nos. (Gen-47, SC-02, ST-03, SEBC-11)
Educational Qualification: Graduate in any discipline or any equivalent qualification.
Candidates must have speed of 120 wpm in English Shorthand and Basic knowledge of Computer Operation.
Knowledge of English, Gujarati & Hindi Language is essential.
Age Limit: Minimum-21 years and maximum-40 years as on 15/10/2016
Pay Scale: Rs.9, 300/- Rs.34, 800/- and Grade Pay Rs.4600/-
2. English Stenographer Grade – II (Class-III): 57 Nos. (Gen-39, SC-02, ST-04, SEBC-12)
Educational Qualification: Graduate in any discipline or any equivalent qualification.
Candidates must have speed of 100 wpm in English Shorthand and Basic knowledge of Computer Operation.
Knowledge of English, Gujarati & Hindi Language is essential.
Age Limit: Minimum-21 years and maximum-35 years as on 15/10/2016
Pay Scale: Rs.9, 300/- Rs.34, 800/- and Grade Pay Rs.4400/-
3. Gujarati Stenographer Grade – I (Class-II): 45 Nos. (Gen-39, ST-01, SEBC-05)
Educational Qualification: Graduate in any discipline or any equivalent qualification.
Candidates must have speed of 90 wpm in Gujarati Short Hand and Basic knowledge of Computer Operation.
Knowledge of English, Gujarati & Hindi Language is essential.
Age Limit: Minimum-21 years and maximum-40 years as on 15/10/2016
Pay Scale: Rs.9, 300/- Rs.34, 800/- and Grade Pay Rs.4600/-
4. Gujarati Stenographer Grade – II (Class-III): 69 Nos. (Gen-43, SC-03, ST-08, SEBC-15)
Educational Qualification: Graduate in any discipline or any equivalent qualification.
Candidates must have speed of 75 wpm in Gujarati Short Hand and Basic knowledge of Computer Operation.
Knowledge of English, Gujarati & Hindi Language is essential.
Age Limit: Minimum-21 years and maximum-35 years as on 15/10/2016
Pay Scale: Rs.9, 300/- Rs.34, 800/- and Grade Pay Rs.4400/-
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any – As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Stenography / Skill Test Written Examination and Viva-voce Test.
Stenography / Skill Test will be held on 19/11/2016 and Viva-voce Test (Oral Interview) will be held on December16 / January17
For English / Gujarati Stenographer Grade-I AND Stenography / Skill Test will be held on 20/11/2016 (Afternoon Session) and Written Examination will be held on 20/11/2016 (Morning Session) For English / Gujarati Stenographer Grade-II

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.500/- (Rs.250/- SC, ST, SEBC, PWD and Ex-SM) as Examination Fee. Fee can be paid through Bank only by means of Fee Payment Challan. Fee Challan can be downloaded from the official website of High Court of Gujarat.
