No. of Vacancies: 10 Nos. (Gen-07, SEBC-02, ST-01 out of total Women-03)
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree with first class with 65 % of marks in Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering.
Candidates should have basic knowledge of Computer Application and knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both with valid light motor vehicles driving license.
Age Limit: Maximum-35 years as on 30/11/2016
Pay Scale: Rs.9300/- Rs.34800/- and Grade Pay Rs.5400/-
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relax able by 05 years for S.E.B.C, Women candidates and 10 years for S.T and S.E.B.C category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Physical Standards (For all above posts):
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 162 cm (158 cm for ST candidates); Chest (unexpanded) — 79 cm (79 cm for ST); Chest (expanded) — 84 cm (84 cm for ST); Weight — 50 kg
(ii) Female Candidates: Height — 158 cm (155 cm for ST candidates); Weight — 45 kg
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Preliminary Test and Interview. Preliminary Test will be held on 05/03/2017.
Candidates belonging to Reserved Category of Other States will be treated as general candidates.
