Under Ministry of Defence, Indian Ordnance Factory – Gun and Shell Factory, Cossipore Kolkata (West Bengal) is recruiting 174 Electroplater, Blacksmith, Electrician, Electronic Fitter, Examiner, Turner, Mason and Etc in Semi-skilled Grade. Eligible candidates may apply Online. Qualification requirement and eligibility norms in brief is given below.

1. Electroplater: 10 Nos. (Gen—6; SC—2; ST—0; OBC—2)
2. Blacksmith: 3 Nos. (Gen—3)
3. Electrician: 14 Nos. (Gen—9; SC—3; OBC—2)
4. Electronic Fitter: 12 Nos. (Gen—8; SC—2; OBC—2)
5. Examiner: 20 Nos. (Gen—10; SC—5; ST—1; OBC—4)
6. Fitter: 43 Nos. (Gen—22; SC—12; ST—4; OBC—5)
7. Turner: 15 Nos. (Gen—7; SC—4; OBC—4)
8. Mason: 2 Nos. (Gen—2)
9. Machinist: 55 Nos. (Gen—29; SC—3; ST—7; OBC—16)

Qualification Required: Madhyamik pass or equivalent. Must possess NCVT Certificate in the relevant trade failing which ITI or equivalent Diploma/ Certificate holder in the respective trade.

Age Limits: between 18yrs to 32yrs as on last date of application. Upper age relaxation for OBC—3yrs; SC/ST—5yrs and PH—10yrs.

Application fee: Rs.50/- only. SC/ST/Ex-Serviceman and PH candidates do not require fee.

Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test and Trade Test (Practical). Written Test will be of Objective type of 100 marks. Trade Test will be only qualifying in nature without any marks. For details, refer the Advt.
