Kolkata Port Trust, Haldia Dock Complex, is inviting application from the eligible candidates for 272 posts of General Equipment Operator and Supervisor. KOLKATA PORT TRUST, HALDIA DOCK COMPLEX IS INVITING APPLICATION FOR 272 POSTS OF GENERAL EQUIPMENT OPERATOR AND SUPERVISOR. LAST DATE — 15.03.2016

 

1. General Equipment Operator: 258 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Class-VIII pass.
Candidates must possess a Heavy Motor Vehicle driving license
must be able to operate pay loaders / Dumpers / Bulldozers / Excavators and be able to attend to minor faults and identify defects and faults and have knowledge of relevant safety rules.
Madhyamik Pass with national Trade Certificate in Mechanical / Fitter / Electrician / Wireman / Mechanic (MV) / Mechanic (Diesel) trade are desirable.
Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience of working for similar operations.
Preference will be given to those candidates who have experience of handling Dry Bulk Cargo at HDC under different organizations.
Age Limit: Not below-25 years as on 01.02.2016
Consolidated Pay: Rs.17, 900/- per month.

 

2. Supervisor: 14 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Higher Secondary Examination or equivalent.
Candidates having Diploma in Mechanical Engineering are desirable.
Experience: Minimum 5 years experience in dry bulk cargo handling operations.
Preference will be given to those candidates who have experience of handling Dry Bulk Cargo at HDC under different organizations.
Age Limit: Not below-25 years as on 01.02.2016
Consolidated Pay: Rs.24, 000/- per month.

 

Selected candidate will be posted in the Dock Area under TO (Sh&CH) Division, HDC.
