Forest Department Haryana, Panchkula, is recruiting 471 Boys/ Girls for the post of “Forest Guard”. Eligible candidates may apply on prescribed application format through Registered post. The Application form can be also prepared on plain legal size paper as per format. Qualification norms and eligibility criteria in brief is given below —
FOREST GUARD
Number of Vacancies: 471 Nos. (General—80; SC—75; BC—116; Ex-Serviceman—162; Sports person—38)
Qualification Required: Matriculation or equivalent. Candidates must have studied Hindi up to Matric level.
Physical Standard:-
For Male: Height—168cms; Chest (Unexpanded/ Expanded): 79/84cms
For Female: Height—155cms; Chest (Unexpanded/ Expanded): 74/ 79cms.
Walking test of 25 kms for males and 14 kms for females to be completed in 4 hours.
Age Limits: between 17yrs to 40yrs as on 08-04-2013.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade pay of Rs.2000/-
Application Fee: Candidates must pay Application Fee of Rs.100/- (Rs.25/- for SC/BC candidates of Haryana only) in form of Demand Draft or Indian Postal Order in favour of “Secretary, Departmental Selection Committee, Haryana Forest Department”.
N.B: Those candidates who have applied earlier against advt. No. 1/2011 Category No. 2 dated 19.03.2011 and corrigendum dated 18.10.2011 for the post of Forest Guard advertised by Haryana Staff Selection Commission, are exempted from paying fee. In such cases they should enclose self-attested copy of the challan regarding fee deposited along with the Application form.
How to Apply: Apply on prescribed application format along with attested copies of testimonials in support of eligibility.
Candidates must send the Application form only through Registered post. Superscribe the top of the envelope with – “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF FOREST GUARD”.
