Recruitment of 77 Boys as “Havildar Education” in Group-X and Y in Army Educational Corps.

Indian Army—Army Educational Corps is recruiting 77 Unmarried Boys for the post of “Havildar Education”  in Group “X” and “Y”. Candidates with Graduate/Degree in Arts or Science stream may apply. Details given below—

1. Havildar Education in Group- X
Qualification: M.A / M.Sc/M.C.A or B.A/B.Ed/B.Sc/B.C.A/B.Sc (I.T.) Course pass candidates may apply in Group-X

2. Havildar Education in Group-Y
Qualification: B.A/B.Ed/B.Sc/B.C.A/B.Sc (I.T.) Course pass candidates may apply in Group-Y

Vacant Posts: In Science Stream—31 Nos. and in Arts Stream—46 Nos.

Terms: B.Sc/B.C.A. done candidates should have any two subjects from the following in their Degree course— Math, Physics, Botany, Chemistry, Zoology, Electronics and Computer Science.
And for B.A done candidates, they should have atleast two subjects/topics from the following in theirs degree course—English Literature, Hindi Literature, Urdu Literature, History, Geography, Political Science, Accountancy, Psychology, Mathematics and  Sociology.

Physical Height & Weight: Candidates should be 162 Cm in Height. Chest (unexpanded/expanded): 77cm/82 cm. Weight: Minimum 50 Kg.

Age: Candidates should be between 20yrs to 25yrs. If candidate is married below age of 21 years then he is not eligible to apply.

Pay Scale: Rs.5200 to Rs.20200. Besides salary there are many other free facilities provided.

Candidates’ Selection: For selection of candidates there will be Physical Ability Test which will be of—(i) Race of one mile in 6.20 minutes, (ii) 6 times beam Test, (iii) Weight laden Test and (iv) 9 foot hoping.
Also Screening Test, Physical Height and Weight Measurement and Medical Examination will be there.
Screening Test and Medical Examination will hold on Kolkata.
Written Test: Selected candidates will be called for Written Test which will be hold on 27th November 2011 from 9 AM to 12 PM. Test will be in 3 parts and candidates will have to attend in any two parts from the total of three parts—Part-I) General English, General Knowledge, Part-II) Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Computer Science from the syllabus of B.Sc. and  Part-III) History, Geography, Political Science and Accountancy from the syllabus of B.A. Course.
Result will be declared on the month of January 2012.

How to Apply: Application can be neatly typed on A4 size paper and then fill it with own handwriting. Along with Application, enclosed the following documents in attested copies—

  • Admit and Mark Sheets’ attested copies of educational documents from Madhyamik to Degree courses
  • Attested copy of Character Certificate (Character Certificate should be issued by School/College or Village Prodhan on their letter head with round seal/stamp and should be atleast 6 months old)
  • Attested copy of Residential Certificate.
  • Recent 2 Nos. passport size photographs (Do not attested; affix one copy on application form and other copy enclosed with the form)
  • Required Relationship Certificate/ documents in case of Son of war widow, widow, Ex-Serviceman. 
  • 2 Nos. self addressed registered envelope with required postal stamp
  • N.C.C. Certificate, if any

N.B: Candidates should brings all necessary documents in Original and in 2 sets attested copies during Selection steps. 

Last Date to Apply: Application should reach within 14th October. On the top of the envelope, super scribe—“Application for Havildar Education”.
