Educational Qualification: 12th pass from a recognised Institution with credit of representing State/ National/ International in games, Sports and Athletics.
Sports Qualification:
i) Individual Event:-
a) Should have represented the country as a member of Senior/ Junior International tournament during the last edition.
OR
b) Should have a medal winning performance in Senior/ Junior National Games/ Championship during the last edition.
OR
c) Should have represented a State or equivalent unit, in National Games/ National Championship in Senior/ Junior level during the last edition.
OR
d) Any medal in all India Inter University Championship during the last edition.
OR
e) Gold Medal in National School Games/ Championship during the last edition.
ii) Team Event:-
a) Should have represented the country as a member of Senior/ Junior International tournament during the last edition.
OR
b) Should have won any medal in the National competition at Senior/ Junior level during the last edition.
OR
c) Should have represented in State team or equivalent unit, in National Games/ Championship in Senior/ Junior level during the last edition.
OR
d) Member of medal winning team in All India Inter-University Championship during the last edition.
OR
e) Gold Medal in National School Games/ Championship during the last edition.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 23 years as on 01/08/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.25500 — Rs.81100
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category.
The vacancies are against Sports Quota for the year 2019 in Central Industrial Security Force (CISF). Both Male and Female candidates are eligible to apply.
Only candidates who have participated in the championships during the last edition of any Tournament/ Competition/ Games (as applicable) held on or after 16/11/2017, will be eligible for applying.
Physical Standards:
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 167 cms (160 cms for Hillmen and Tribesmen); Chest (unexpanded) — 81 cms; Chest (expanded) — 86 cms.
(ii) Female Candidates: Height — 153 cms.
Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Trial Test, Proficiency Test, Final Selection and Medical Examination.
