HEAD CONSTABLE (ASSISTANT WIRELESS OPERATOR/ TELE-PRINTER OPERATOR)
No. of Vacancies: 649 Nos. (Male- 435, Female-214)
Educational Qualification: i) 10+2 (Senior Secondary) pass from a recognized Board with Science and Mathematics as subjects. OR National Trade Certificate (NTC) in the trade of Mechanic-cum-Operator Electronics Communication System.
ii) English word processing speed- 1000 key depressions in 15 minutes.
iii) Basic knowledge of Computer.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years as on 01-07-2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.25500 — Rs.81100
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Both Male and Female candidates are eligible to apply. The posts are Temporary in nature.
The selected candidates will undergo Residential Basic Training course at training centre in Delhi for Nine (09) months.
Physical Standards:
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 170 cms; Chest (unexpanded) — 81 cms; Chest (expanded) — 85 cms.
(ii) Female Candidates: Height — 157 cms.
Cut-off in Physical Standards: For candidates belonging to certain categories/ communities or of certain States/Areas; the cut-off in such candidate’s Height/ Chest’s measurement will be as per Govt. norms. Please see officially released advertisement for more details.
Candidates must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Computer Based Examination, Physical Endurance & Measurement Test (PE&MT), Trade Test, Test of Proficiency in Computer Operation and Medical Examination.
