Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) is recruiting 866 Meritorious Sportsperson for the posts of Head Constable/ GD-191 & Constable/ GD – 675. The recruitment is against Sports Quota therefore the meritorious Sportsperson who have played the below mentioned games may only apply. Application form is to be made/ prepare as per given format. Brief details is given below—
Name of the Posts and Eligibility Criteria:—
1. Head Constable (General Duty)
Qualification: Higher Secondary (Class 10+2) pass from recognised board.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200—Rs.20200 and Grade pay—Rs.2400
2. Constable (General Duty)
Qualification: Madhyamik (Class 10) pass from recognised board.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200—Rs.20200 and Grade pay—Rs.2000.
Physical Standard:—
For General Candidates — Height: 170cms (for male) and 157cms (for Female); Chest (unexpanded/ expanded): 80cms/ 85cms. Chest measurement is not applicable for female candidates; Weight: Proportional to height and age.
For Scheduled Tribes — Height: 162.5cms (for male) and 150cms (for Female); Chest (unexpanded/ expanded): 76cms/ 81cms. Chest measurement is not applicable for female candidates; Weight: Proportional to height and age.
Relaxation in measurement of height, chest and weight for other categories, if any, is as per norms.
Medical Standards (For all): Eye Sight— In distant vision 6/6 and 6/9 both eyes without wearing glasses. Should be free from color blindness.
The candidates should not have knock knee, stammering, flat foot, varicose veins or squint in eyes or any other defects which may hinder with the performance of duty.
Age limits (for both posts): between 18yrs to 23yrs as on 1/8/2012. Age relaxation for OBC—3yrs; SC/ST-5yrs and Others—as per norms.

Sports Qualification of the candidates required –
1. Head Constable (GD): Meritorious Sportsperson who have won medal in the above listed Individual Event sports OR Sportsperson who have at least won Bronze medal in the sports mentioned above in the list under Team Event sports.
2. Constable (GD): Sportsperson who have represented State/ Country OR University/ State School Team in any one of the sports/games mentioned above in the list.
Selection of Candidates: Candidates will be selected through – Height bar test, Identity check, Testimonials and documents verification, Physical Standard test, Trial in respective sports discipline and finally Medical Examination.

Application Fee: Candidates should pay Application fee of Rs.50 in form of Demand Draft/ IPO or Banker’s Cheque which should be in favour of – “The DIG (Sports), CRPF” and payable at “New Delhi”. SC/ST candidates do not need to pay application fee.
Along with application form candidates should enclose the Attested copies of all Educational and Testimonial is support of eligibility such as – Educational certificate, Birth/ Age proof certificate, Caste Certificate, Sports Certificate and any other relevant documents, if any And—
2 Nos. self-address envelope (23cm X 10cm) with affixed postal stamp of Rs.5 on each.
2 Nos. pass port size photographs (one copy pasted on Application form and Other copy on Admit card and then get it Attested from Gazetted Officer.
