HEAD CONSTABLE (MINISTERIAL) (GROUP C)
No. of Vacancies: 554 Nos. (Male: 372 posts (UR-140, EWS-37, OBC-86, SC-56, ST-53), Female: 182 posts (UR-69, EWS-18, OBC-42, SC-27, ST-26))
Educational Qualification: i) 10+2 (Senior Secondary) pass from a recognized Board.
ii) Speed of 30 wpm in English Typing on Computer.
OR
Speed of 25 wpm in Hindi Typing on Computer.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 01/07/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.25500 — Rs.81100
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Both Male and Female candidates are eligible to apply. The posts are Temporary in nature.
The selected candidates for the post will have to undergo Residential Basic Training course at training centre in Delhi for a period of Four (04) months or as prescribed from time to time.
Physical Standards:
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 165 cms (160 cms for ST candidates); Chest (unexpanded) — 78 cms (73 cms for ST); Chest (expanded) — 82 cms (77 cms for ST)
(ii) Female Candidates: Height — 157 cms (152 cms for ST candidates)
Cut-off in Physical Standards: For candidates belonging to certain categories/ communities or of certain States/Areas; the cut-off in such candidate’s Height/ Chest’s measurement will be as per Govt. norms. Please see officially released advertisement for more details.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Physical Endurance & Measurement Test (PE&MT), Typing Test , Computer Test and Medical Examination, etc.
